I didn't update yesterday cos I was preparing for the big lab today. This is supposedly the biggest one we're having, so I had to do my homework and now I have to set myself up for it, cos I will have to write my first lab report on it. Ugh...
I was in the chat room two days ago with Elana and Fry when my
Bailey
turned into a Marutchi! Such a cutie. I told Elana and Fry as soon as I could. Ginjirotchi here he comes! Not too much more about
Bailey
. I haven't given him all his discipline yet, but I can't think of why I keep missing them, since he is always in my top pocket or my hand, hanging on my fingers...

Not too much now, but there will be big news soon! Why is that you ask? Cos
Bailey
just got sick a few minutes ago!
I had two quizzes in my biology lab today in a row, and then we did a few experiments, which I now have to write a long lab report on. This is definitely going to take a while. I left my little ones on during the lab, and kept them near me the whole time, except for the couple of minutes that my friends snatched them from the desk and checked the two out. I went through the next few hours with them asking me every half hour if I was taking care of them, were they hungry, were they happy, and such questions. Silly friends...
Poor
Bailey
is a little fattie though, he's been eating too many snacks...

Daisuke grew into an adult this morning! He became a Memetchi. So did his betrothed, Makiko. So this morning was the time for Daisuke to fulfill his destiny: meet Makiko, fall head over heels in love with her, start showing hearts whenever they exchange sweet little gifts, and be ready to make babies as soon as they're old enough! Right?
...Wrong.
Never in my years of Tama Connection caretaking have I ever had a couple this difficult! I blame it mostly on Makiko, who has turned out to be an obstinate little thing. She had to win every single game, and then gloat afterwards by giving Daisuke gifts of poo, bugs, or illnesses. The only nice gift she ever gave him was a trumpet, which she then proceeded to give him over and over.
The only explanation I can think of for Makiko's attitude is that she hasn't forgotten that yesterday, she was a rowdy little Nikatchi, whereas Daisuke was an even-tempered Ringotchi. They may look the same now, but they have different spirits inside.
Poor Daisuke. He was so gentle with her. I had to cheer him up several times by playing the musical notes catching game with him.
After this went on long enough, I started cheering for Daisuke. When he would win a game (rarely), I found myself saying, "Yeah, take that!" And when he would give her poo, I would ask, "How does it feel??"
Not a good start to a relationship.
But my perseverance paid off. Eventually Daisuke made the first move. He expressed his love with a heart, and offered Makiko a jump rope as a peace offering. I was so relieved. I let Makiko enjoy the jump rope for a few minutes, and then dared to check their feelings for each other on the Friends menu. Instead of happy faces or hearts, the Keitai has a word in Japanese that describes their feeling for each other. I sounded it out as "netsuai" or something - I don't know the word, but I looked it up and I think it means a very strong love.
I kept connecting them, because I had to see it to believe it: Makiko, the one with nothing but nasty gifts, actually has "netsuai" for poor little Daisuke? They played a game or two, and then Makiko flew up to give Daisuke a gift. There was indeed a heart, and I rejoiced for a second, before I saw - astonishingly enough - that the gift that accompanied that heart was yet another poo!
I guess Makiko is just uncomfortable with her feelings and doesn't know how to express them properly. It's kind of like playground crushes; not quite mature enough to say "I like you", you end up teasing each other and hitting each other and making each other cry.
This is, after all, my first ever Keitai relationship. Maybe in future generations they'll be more comfortable with their netsuai.

While reading that one part, I could picture you laughing and pointing at your tama and saying those things. I must say, I loved the visual.
Elana, is there any way for you to put up a picture of the two ketais? I'd love to see how they look. The shells and the tamas.
And now for my log...
One of my best friends returned today.
Maskutchi is back! I didn't manage to see
Bailey
change, but he must have done it while I was working my two hours at the tennis club. I definitely missed seeing, or... not seeing his face. What a cutie. I guess no Ginjirotchi this time, but I'm even more happy to see a familiar tama. I'm just thrilled to know that I have my Koganetchi and my Maskutchi on my two tamas. Yippee!
Maybe I'll try and get
Bailey
to change into a Gajintch this time. I'm not very fond of the character, but maybe my feelings will change once I got him as one of my own. Who knows?

Sorry for not keeping everyone up-to-date on my little Tama. I just got really busy and never got time for logs, or posting much. I did however make plenty of time for my Tamas, and didn't pause them at all this week.
I wrote here the night of the group hatching, and talked of how I hatched my clear white P2. Well shortly after writing that, my little Shirobabitchi became a Tonmarutchi and went straight to bed. What a cute little guy that little Tonmarutchi is.
He remained this character until Tuesday, when he became the good teen Tongaritchi. Before changing I had given him his final discipline, which I was very relieved about, since it is crucial to catch all discipline calls if you want to get Mimitchi. As a Tongaritchi I found myself to be more relaxed in caring for him, since the hard part was over.
So this brings me up to today, Thursday. This afternoon while working away in art class, and checking on my Tamas I saw that my Tongaritchi needed discipline. I scolded him, bringing the meter up to 100%. I was so happy to catch that discipline! Not long after, in Biology class, he got sick and I inoculated him twice for him to be well again. Tomorrow he will change.. I hope I get a second Mimitchi!
I will write tomorrow about who I get. I can't wait to see whom!

Sorry as well for not posting an update sooner. Good to read everyone's updates on their tamas, I have to admit I found myself sort of laughing at some of Elana's post. Heres to hoping your tamas confess there love for eachother soon.
Anyways, now for my update. I have to admit I wasn't taking the best care for Fama my Young Mametchi, the highlight for her was probably getting to watch a pretty good movie, called 1408.
So later that same day I had left the room my tamas were in for awhile, and I returned to see Fama had changed into a Billotchi, kind of a weird name for a female tamagotchi.
I think this is the first time I've gotten this tama and I'm not sure if it's technically an "unhealthy" character or not, but in all honesty, she doesn't look like the healthiest of all tamas. But I love her all the same!
I think I might have gotten her due to being lazy and feeding her alot of snacks, and even though I've been pretty good at the Get Notes game, I couldn't compensate for the bad nutrition.
So I will try better with her son or daughter.
But this is a special tama due to the circumstances she was hatched, and I enjoyed writing about her as well as reading about everyone elses!

Billotchi was from the Osutchi. I think its name used to be Biruotchi? Correct me if I'm wrong. Originally it was a male character, but didn't you hatch a girl? I remember they did change around the genders when they got the characters from the Osu/Mesu families when they did the V3s.
And "1408"... wasn't it a Kubrick film? I think my teacher from English Comp used to talk about it. He was obsessed with the guy.

Haven't updated in a while, but that is because there really wasn't that much to update! I am almost positive that I will not be getting the secret character on my lime green P1, but other than that he is actually great. I love the fact that
Bailey
wakes up at 11:00am, which means I don't have to wake up early all the time to take care of him. That means more sleepy time for me!
He was paused most of yesterday cos Saturdays I work from 11:00am-6:00pm. My longest day of the week. It was fairly brutal, as usual, but I survived. Thank goodness none of the kids came unpaused in my bad while I was working, as they do occasionally.

Finally something to report. Not much though... Poor
Bailey
is starting to get needy... and I'm getting worried about the lovable guy. He's been a really important part of my family, and when he leaves, I'll be so unhappy. I'm definitely going to miss this little guy when he goes.

Oops! I should have mentioned this in a much more timely fashion. I recorded it all on my main log and forgot to repost it here.
Daisuke and Makiko finally mated on Sunday, and left their sons behind yesterday. So this brings Daisuke's log to a conclusion. You can follow the life of his son, Hideki, on my
main log
.
