Tamagotchi FamiTama Info

I hate to be someone to spread rumors, but maybe this one has some merit to it.
This isn't exactly news(I debated posting this in General Discussion), it's been floating around the internet since late August so some of you may already know, but I wanted to get your opinions.
Amazon.com right now has a listing for a Tamagotchi Connection V5 Familitchi.
There is no release date listed but I have read other people saying it said December 2007 at one point. The reason why I think this has a chance of being true(atleast partially) is because a new tamagotchi, called Family Iro Iro, is being released in Japan in November.
Obviously it hasn't been that long since the V4.5 was released, but then again this would be the first tama in awhile(for the US) to have completely new features, atleast according to the Amazon listing.
Here is the link:

This looks really interesting, actually. I'm the most interested to see what the new antenna (if it's different) looks like. I wish they had a picture...

Don't we all...
I also have read that several people emailed Bandai and Bandai said that a Tamagotchi Connection V5 was not currently in development, but who knows how much they actually know.

Hehe, it could be a company secret... or a company conspiracy

I hate to be the cynic, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Which is probably the best thing to do, seeing as there isn't much proof as of now this is anything more than a mess up on Amazon's side.
But I've never shopped on Amazon, not much atleast, so I really don't know about their track record. I would like to think Amazon would have to have some kind of reason to put this up on their site, but there are several reasons why this could be all wrong.

Did they email Bandai America or Bandai Japan? Is it possible that this "Familitchi" is the same thing as "Family Iro Iro"?

I assume they emailed Bandai America, but I couldn't tell you for sure.

Thats what I think, and why I also think this amazon page may very well be correct, considering most of the tamas in the US are based of of ones recently released in Japan.

So since I have no idea what the Family Iro Iro is, can anyone explain how it's different from the other ones, specifically the v4.5? I assume they must have made some fairly decent changes to decide that it will be the next version on, instead of a version 4.7 or something of the sort.

The Tamagotchi Family Iro Iro is the next one being released in Japan, I've seen November 23 as the exact date on every site I've seen.
Here is a link.

Just from googling and reading posts on some other forums, it seems there is a rumor stating you will be able to raise up to five tamas at once on the Iro Iro.
Here is another link with some pictures:

V5 or not, this FamiTama (I've also seen it called that) looks quite interesting, I'm am quite sure already I will be ordering one. YesAsia is even excepting pre-orders for them.
