I mentioned this in my log, but I saw a growth chart out on tamatalk and I wanted to make my own cos the one I saw was too messy for me to look at

So I went to tamagotchi.com and looked up the character chart, and took the messy growth chart and re-vamped it and made it as neat as I could do. Through about an hour and a half of work, I compiled this one right here:

If you cannot see it, here is a link to the image itself:

If there are any problems, questions, concerns about it not being big enough (font too small?), suggestions, or anything else, just PM me or post here, and I hope this helps out!

There's an error here. I had an Ura-Young Memetchi become Horoytchi, but it says here it's not possible. Other than that, Awesome! I'll look to see if I can help it be perfect

There is some errors in Ura character names. Example some syllables have letters missing and some names don't fit in japanese syllable system.

Not trying to sound know-it-all, but I have studied japanese some time and this kind of things "jump" to my eye easily.

EDIT: typo fix

I'm sorry. I don't think they're the japanese version names though... cos I got the names straight off the tamagotchi.com site. Here's the chart I used:

http://www.tamagotchi.com/pdf/chart_characters_v45.pdf

If you can't access it through there, you can go to tamagotchi.com, then go to the Products section, and into the "See all the V4.5 Characters!" part. It's a .png file, so I'm pretty sure you need Adobe Acrobat Reader for it.

As for GameAW, thanks for the info! I'll update it sometime soon. I want to see if there are any other suggestions so I don't have to change the whole thing every time someone adds something.

I'm sorry. I don't think they're the japanese version names though... cos I got the names straight off the tamagotchi.com site. Here's the chart I used:

That explains it. Bandai USA has lately used more and more of the original japanese names in Connexions instead of translating them like "Peacocktchi" (Kujakutchi) or "Festivaltchi" (Matsuritchi) and then they end up leaving typos in the official character listing in the Tamagotchi.com

Now that I look in that your character list again, Horoytchi is the only name that seems to be mistyped. It should be Horoyotchi, the "yo" syllable is missing it's vowel.

Tougyutchi's name rings also my mind as long O sound isn't usually in the first syllable of the word (written "ou" here). I need to look for the japanese character name in TamaChannel to check that out.

Other names seem to be romanized correctly.

I find that since I don't pronounce the last I in a Tamagotchi species name, I detest the English names such as "Crackertchi" and "Maidtchi".

And yes Tougyutchi is spelled right as far as I remember...

So glad that they have not changed names like you have said though. Can you imagine?!

Hey, by your chart I expected my Ura Young Furawatchi to evolve into Purimatchi, since I had mostly funny points..But instead it  evolved into Horoyotchi....so I just thought I'd tell you..lol.

Yeah, in my experience so far it hasn't been that accurate either. When I find a different growth chart I'll definitely try to redo the inaccurate parts of it. But for now I believe we just need information. Thanks for helping though =D

Note to self: had a male Kometchi. Should have become Tougyutchi, but instead became Yasaguretchi.

Hey y'all, I think that instead of using this as a guide, that we should add and change it around to make it more accurate! To do so, I need your input!

Please post:
-what teenager you had (what family it "should" be in)
-what gender it was
-which skill points you boosted up
-what adult it became

Thanks so much! I'll try to do my best with what I get!
