I've taken to using ChatZilla for the chatroom rather than the Java client, but I'm not entirely sure I'm doing it correctly.

ChatZilla also shortens my username to 'Priestess'.

If anything weird (my messages not showing up, I suddenly disappear, I can't see your message, etc.) happens, please forgive me.

Most of the IRC networks accept only 9-character long nicknames ("priestess") so that explains why your nickname got shortened through ChatZilla (which I presume to be IRC software)

EWC's own java IRC client enables longer nicknames, but I don't know actually how.
