Today, I was left with Forte's son, Alto. I accidentally let him get hungry and unhappy once, but that was quickly remedied with cereal and apples.
At 10:30 he grew to be a Kuchitamatchi.

OKAY SO TODAY I went to Wal*Mart at first thing in the morning (9) to get some yarn for this
super cute toast purse
that I wanted to crochet. Since I was at Walmart, I figured I might as well buy myself a Tamagotchi Music Star. I thought I'd also buy a Penguin Palz but the Tamagotchi was 17 bucks with tax and I couldn't justify buying the silly Penguin thing, even if it was only an extra 6 dollars.
I was realllllly hoping they'd have the
Techno Sound
design in stock because it's a really beautiful design, but they didn't. All they had left (there were about 6 left on the racks... maybe I came
too
early, before they had even restocked?) were horrible opaque pink and lime green ones... and, thankfully, a single Tamagotchi with an appealing design was left,
however I couldn't seem to find the design's name, the only one on Amazon is unnamed
. It's electric blue with white buttons and highlights and yellow and blue designs on it.
I love how you can have eight characters in your Tama's name, now. I named by baby boy Julien. I've always loved that name.
They brought back the concept of baby food! Good for them. They must have been listening to me. They also managed to add a new stat (Stress) that
isnt'
horribly confusing! Good for them again. and here I was, thinking they couldn't do anything right. The lengthier process of getting to the Hungry/Happy bars (/squiggles) will take some getting used to, but it's no worse than the process on the P1. They brought back mail, which made me 'ugh' when I discovered that, but it's really not as bad as the V4.5... although the Kutchitamatchi's face when he starts freaking out... unnerves me.
Julien's been to the kindergarten once so far, and failed to jump rope because it caught me by surprise, and my buttons haven't exactly broken in yet... if they ever will. Maybe the response time is just really bad.
I also noticed that you can wake up your Tamagotchi now, once its asleep? Are there any pros/cons to doing this?
Oh yeah, the new games, from what I've seen so far, are pretty enjoyable. Ffffff I think I like this version.
so when Julien hatched, I got a car, I think somewhere around 3000 Gotchi Points, and this singing pillar things. Is this what usually happens? Julien seemed to be born with a love of rock music (awesome \m/) but soon after becoming a Kuchitamatchi halfway through the day, he turned to the dark side... of -shudder-
pop music
... I quickly rectified this! A little rhythm training introduced him to Classical music and he fell in love with it. Not my favourite, but still better than pop!~ All the best metal bands cite having 'classical influences' anyway.
I also unpaused Alto, because I never got around to that... so now I have two Kuchitamatchi hanging out with me. I tried connecting them, but then I remembered that didn't work, because the V3 immediately gave me a 'Fail' notice. That made me feel like a failure. Failllll.
I took some photos for the occasion! They turned out really well, in my opinion. I'm getting good at this camera thing. Like all my photos, please click to enlarge, because horrible ImageShack thumbnails do not do them justice.
Julien decided for the photoshoot that he would jam with his singer... buddies... things. OK seriously what are those.
Meanwhile, Alto decided he would roll on the floor like a fool. Well, as long as they're having fun! ^^

Alto is now a Hinatchi, and pretty agreeable.
Julien is a Kikitchi, and has formed a band with an Ichigotchi and someone else!~ >.>
Their band is called 'Megadeth' (I'm very sorry... but it had to be done. Too much lulz.). It started out as a Classical band (?!?) but quickly progressed into Rock & Roll. It originally featured Julien on vocals and Penny and Elaine on guitars, but they are now vocal-less... They all play guitar.
Also - do you have to buy food on this version or something? That's the only way I've been able to keep my Kikitchi's hearts up, the Baby food doesn't change...
Also also - why do items keep appearing in my inventory? I gained a BanDai logo and a Guitar today for no reason.
I think I'm going to try that new TamaTown thing now.

The baby food and baby milk will only fill the hearts for a baby or toddler, so you will have to keep on purchasing meals and snacks. I usually purchase fish and pears. Fish give +1 hungry and 0 weight, Pears give +1 happy and -1 weight.
You are given a new toy when the preschool teacher comes to visit your character. The same happens at the teen stage when the music teacher comes to invite your character to music school, he gives you a new instrument.
Oh and about the wake up function. If you wake up your character when its sleeping by pressing button C, it adds 20 stress points and you can only feed meals/ snacks, flush the poop, check stats, or use the PC function. If you wake it up by setting the clock forward, you can use all the icons and no stress will be added.
I love that music star design, I have the exact same one

Hmm, interesting. There were pears in the store today, luckily, but how do you constantly feed your Tams the same meal? Are there codes for them or is there a store on the website or something?
And man, I just tried listening to some of the tracks made on the Music City thing... some kids obviously don't listen to too much music.
I'm HS6169, in case you ever see me around. Don't ask why I chose that user ID.

The store on the toy carries unlimited amounts of meals and snacks, so if you really wanted to you could fill your inventory with the same meals ect...
lol, some of the CD's people make on music city are pretty bad... Including some of my own. I really don't like many of the music choices to put on the CD's

Alto is a Bunbuntchi. x3
Julien has just been just getting by with the little money he can get sorting fruit. He evolved into a Mametchi, which made me happy. His bandmates are a Masukutchi, and ..the one which a music note head. Can't recall her name.
Megadeth
is currently an R&B band... however that works... but it finally made its pro debut today! Still has a Star Ranking of 999th, but their fan count jumped overnight from 3 000 to a whopping 12 495 000.
Oh wait, no, I just checked the page again, now we're at 235th? This version confuses me sometimes.
But, when their PRO DEBUT came around, every one 10 000 GP each, so I shouldn't be having to starve poor Julien much in a while. x3

Hello, blog that I haven't touched for months. How are you?
So, since it's the Thanksgiving extra-long weekend... here up north at least... I decided to man-up and unpaused my Music Star. My V3's battery gave up the ghost about a month ago. Never bothered to replace it.
My Julien met a lovely woman... don't know what she was, but I think she was adorable. =3 They had a son, who I am currently raising... I named him
Detroit
. When Julien and his wife left, though... they took all the money with them.. >.> How am I supposed to feed Detroit once he gets older?! Jerks.
I also started my P1, because I figured I'd have time for him over the 4-day weekend, and because I haven't played with it in a long time, and hey, I bought it for a reason, didn't I? I woke up with some kind of horrible stomach bug this morning, but once I was feeling up to it, I dragged myself across my bedroom and pulled it out of its box. Once he hatched, I named my new Babitchi
Manhattan
. I don't know what's up with the city names, but I like them. =) Manhattan is currently a Marutchi. Detroit is a Kuchitamatchi.
No photos this time, my camera's batteries are too dead to stay on for more than 2 seconds, and it takes more than 2 seconds to set all the settings to take decent photos of Tamagotchi.

Detroit
is a Kikitchi, now. Dad has finally started giving him some allowance, so he can eat. x3 We stocked up on scones and pears today.
Oh, I forgot about the school! So, Detroit just met his new band. What should we name it? It's going to be a rock band, so how about, oh I dunno...
Slayer
. x3 As it is, Detroit plays guitar, and the one two, a Hinatamatchi and something else, are playing... taiko drums. NOT METAL, MUST FIX.
Oh, so it claims they're "bass drums". Huh. Well, I'm putting Toby, the Hinotamatchi, on vocals. Colleen, the female...one... can play guitar, along with Detroit.
This band's gonna ruuuule!
As for
Manhattan
... he's an overweight Marutchi, as usual. Pretty agreeable. Can't complain, really. His discipline bar is almost full. That's good.

Happy New Year XD
So I just found my Music Star lying around, figured I might as well try unpausing it and see how that goes... I guess this is Detroits son, this
Vreth
I have? He's a Kuribotchi that listens to Asian music. Asian music is close enough to folk music to live up to his
namesake
, I guess.
Also, my hobby-of-the-week has been taking things apart, fiddling with them, then putting them back together... so I figured now was a better time than any to
finally
debug my Camo V2 =D I got this one used, and the previous owner must have been fiddling with it before I tried, because one of the screws was already half-stripped. >=( After much fuss about getting that one out, I tested it with a battery to make sure I hadn't broken anything... it gave a horrible descending beep and then konked out. I figured the screws were part of some verification connection, or something, and went ahead.
Everything was normal... opened it up, IR case fell out, scribbled between the semicircles, fiddled with putting the IR case back it, screw it back shut. Stuck the battery in... nothing. Nothing deterred, I grabbed a fresh battery from upstairs. Was greeted by the Debug's signature seizuring egg. =) I've started out with a ...Tamagotchi-shaped character, whom I've named
Debug
, clever rite
I'll see how that goes... He's already confused about the time because of my playing with the C-button function. After this, I think I'll start with a baby and see how that goes.
Did anyone ever figured out whether any versions post-V2 could be debugged? I remember when doing this was the FUN BUT RISKY THING to do with your Tamas x3
