Ahah, my own log giving me this warning. Beautiful.

So, I've been somewhat chronicling the life of Spook over in the TSS Hallowe'en Hatch 08 thread. He's gone from Puchitchi, to ...well I can't seem to recall what toddler he was, but after that he was a Young Mametchi, and after that, his current adult form of Tarakotchi.
Today Tarakotchi encountered the MatchMaker and she presented him with a lovely Mimitchi wife, and Spook fathered a baby boy. I will name the boy Hero when the time comes.
I will be hatching my Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 at the Holiday Hatching, for having another family to be around and celebrating during the time for family.

I've picked up the playing of Dofus again. If any of you find an Osamodas girl by the name of Zexhiquelp wandering around Incarnam, that'd be me. I tried playing around in Astrub, but I really couldn't enjoy it with its crowded appearance and grid-like setup... Maybe later, I still have a Snoowolf to defeat!

I was trying to get active in Starport again, but two days into the deal the server crapped out on me and I couldn't access anything in time to get enough money to pay for more UN protection. D:<

Yesterday, Spook left leaving his son behind. He stayed crying there for about a day, as I hadn't the chance to take care of him, or even name him. I took him in this morning, at which point I had forgotten about the plan to name him Hero, so I went with a more common name - Adam. Adam started out as on adorable little Puchitchi - constantly demanding food and play, getting sick, and pooping a lot. Finally during the late morning he turned into a Kuribotchi. He's been even more adorable ever since.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I recently started up a new life on my V5 to help me get through the Exam period - both to calm me (wasn't really a problem anyway) and keep my occupied (very much a problem). I started a family which I named 'Mirai' - which if I am not mistaken, translates to 'future'.

They were kids, then they were teens. I forgot to log about all these parts.
But yesterday as I was reading my book, I heard that evolution tune and I found before me the cutest family ever. They are:
My eldest daughter, Mirai Onputchi;
my middle son, Mirai Mumutchi; and
my youngest daughter, Mirai Violetchi.
They have a bonding status of 50% (which is probably the highest I've ever gotten it).

So of course, I ran to my camera and took photos. Here are the 3 that turned out. Tongue

The 3 getting ready for bed at around 8:50 PM :3

Mumutchi, how can you shower with that hat on?

my camera needed rebooting and when it came back on I forgot to turn the flash off - I think this looks interesting, that's all. That is my foot, not a tumor, and my socks and armwarmers don't actually match. That's a game of light that the flash played.

I got the Mirai gang to 100% bonds today. The 'C' animation was adorable.
So today Onputchi attended the Dating Show and she met a handsome Nemutchi who she promptly fall in love with. Mumutchi and Violetchi were sad to see her go and quietly floated away to find lives of their own, while the couple enjoyed a moment together. They became Mememamatchi and Papapatchi, mother and father of two Futabatchi (a boy and a girl) and their youngest son, Omututchi.
They've been good (although the battery-low screen has shown up a couple times with interesting glitches - I can still move about the Tamagotchi's functions! It only replaces the main animation. Is this supposed to happen?) and they just settled down for a nap.

I'm not sure I understand the growth patterns on this version yet. Charts such as the ones here show some kind of full family for each set, as well as pets. How do I get these full families? I've had little blended families so far. Also how do you get the pet? Does it show up in the store?

EDIT: The Mirai children are now Mirai Mattaritchi (son), Mirai Tororotchi (daughter), and Mirai Ahirukutchi (son).

To get full families you need to mate certain characters and have 100% bonding for it to be successful.

For instance, if you get a mametchi in your siblings, you can either do the mating show on the TV and get a chantotchi, or find a chantotchi on another V5 and mate them when there's enough love between both families to do that (That's my understanding anyway on the latter option). The mating show would be easier though, it just takes patience and some time setting here and there to keep trying the matchmaker until you get your desired character.

@TL : Ah, I see. Thank you!

also
I just got another wrongful, glitchy battery warning so I reset it.
I was not presented the option to download, instead I got that tell-tale 'Wait!' screen.
The Mirai family is gone.

What's wrong with this version!? o_O

Regardless, I'll now start another family, I guess. I was only on the toddler stage anyway.

So, I have 3 eggs. I wait now.
-waitin'z-
First egg: Futabatchi!
Second: Omututchi!
Third: The other one! (I can't recall it at the moment!)

I'll name them 'Ni'. No, not after the tired Monty Python joke. I have my views on that. 'Ni', if I'm not mistaken, means 'two'.

Mimifuwatchi. That's what the third one's called. Like I'd remember that. It goes Daughter - son - Daughter again, too.
Fill them up on plates of whatever that is, and lollipops, and away we go, I guess.

TIME FOR ANOTHER INSTALLMENT OF...

STUPID V5 GLITCHES
with your host, Priestess of Syrinx

yeah so I don't know if it was static from my cat, or what, but the Ni family (2G teens at the time) called out for an activity, so I selected one... and it reset.
Thankfully, it gave me the 'download/reset' screen, so I hit download.
It resets again.
The memory was lost.

I'm putting this toy away.
I'll wait until the Valentine's Hatch to do anything Tamagotchi-related again.

Anyway sounds like a battery problem. Was your battery on it's way to being low?

I have no clue - we get our CR2032s from the dollar store, so they're always of varying quality but they tend to last the same time as the expensive ones from The Source. It was probably at half it's way through when I popped it in a week or two ago, but unless the V5 is a real battery-eater and I just don't know it, it should've been at a functioning level. =/
Maybe it's the new screen size, or maybe it's just a programming flaw - but activities (music, the '?' events, games) seem to give my V5 battery-related problems. I've read about other people's V5's memories blanking often, so I'm pretty sure this isn't an isolated issue.

Do the V5.5 or Music Star do this?

(I think the first wave of Tamagotchi Connections still wins for most battery problems, though. Batteries lasting 2 days max for the lose.)

Anyway..
The first generation's youngest daughter of the Ni family grew up into a Watatchi, so she became Makiko after too much girly-radiation from that dresser. She met an interestingly butt-less Kuchipatchi on the Dating Show and, become Majorite and Papapatchi, they gave birth to the second generation of the Ni family, who departed as Ni Bakutchi, Ni Ichigotchi, and Ni Mamekatchi.
They might be missed.

Mabey its just the batteries your buying? The batteries in my v.5's usually last for a very long time (up to 30 generations) I don't know about the music star. When I pulled the tab out of mine, it took two minutes until I heard the fimiliar long beep @_@ (no wait screen though Tongue ) I have'nt had any glitches or battery troubles with the v.5.5 yet...
