Right now I'm listening to "Heart Of Mine" by Peter Salett. I downloaded it after hearing it on the movie "Keeping The Faith" tonight. Smiley

I'm listening to "Elephants As Big As" from the MySpace page of PlayRadioPlay! that Madcow posted on the "Do Post Music!" thread. Smiley It's pretty chill. The cellos just came in, it's nice.

'Empty Walls' by Serj Tankian

It's strange...for a song from the System of a Down frontman, this song is almost... pop-like.
It's so catchy though. =3

'Hello', by Evanescence.

It's a really, really sad song about the death of Amy Lee's older sister.  It's just her on piano, and it's so heartbreaking.  I happened upon it by chance on Youtube, and now I'm hooked!

Chi -- 'Hello' was the first Evanescence song I ever heard, it's a beautiful song, but you're right, it's really really sad. Actually put me off of ever listening to Evanescence again because it kinda depressed me for a week.

Have you heard any of the other tracks on Fallen?

Well, yes.  This sounds kind of silly, but I actually own Fallen and the Open Door.  However, I took a look at the lyric book before listening to it for the first time and, after noticing 'Hello' and 'My Last Breath' towards the end of the CD, concluded that the last part of it was probably really morbid.  I've been dealing with a death in my family lately, so I just didn't really want to listen to things like that at the time.  I've read the lyrics to 'My Last Breath', and I still don't think I'm ready to hear that, but I just decided to listen to 'Hello' one day and see how I liked it.  It kind of mirrors the way that I'm feeling right now.

Okay, so I love Evanescence.  They're my favorite band.  I have all their songs, even the ones from their EPs and stuff.  Does anyone have their CD Origin? It's amazing...I'm listening to the song "Anywhere" from it right now.

Chi - My Last Breath is an amazing song and you should listen to it!  It's not really that morbid at all.  I'm sorry about your loss. Sad

Thank you for your kind words, Madcow.

As for "Origin", I'd love to own it, but the cheapest it is on Amazon is a whopping $60USD and I'm just not paying that.  I am attempting to find a site where you can download the songs for free (but still legally).  My favorite song on it is 'Lies'.  What's yours?

The songs Anywhere, Listen to the Rain, Where Will You Go, and Away From Me are amazing.  I love the rest too though. Ahh they're all just soo good! LOL

Yeah, the CD is really expensive.  Amy Lee actually encouraged people to download it because they don't even get any money from it anymore (it was a very limited release) and also because a lot of the time when people buy it they just receive a burned CD.  I downloaded all of the old songs using Azereus. I bought all their CDs I could though. Cheesy

My first concert was an Evanescence concert. xD

...yeah I hadn't gone to a concert for most of my life.

Chi - Okay, I understand then. I'm sorry about what you've had to go through.

Madcow - My friend has all of their CDs... I only have 'Fallen' and 'The Open Door'. The only song I've heard, I know the title of, on another album is 'Missing', which is a great song but YouTube had one of their copyright sweeps and it's not there anymore. TT_TT
