Least popular: Any weird character you have to debug to get. (Can't get much more unpopular than that!)

Least favorite: Kuchitamatchi (I still love him, but He's just my least favorite.)
I'm talking about those I've had before. I used to think Ginjirotchi would be boring and that I'd just plain not like him. After I got him, he skyrocketed from most hated to most loved P1. Ever since then, I only judge after I have had them at least once.

Yes, Hanatchi is only female in V4, but I don't think she's "rare"..
Dude she was the second one ((adult form, of course)) I got, after Masktchi... =')
I loved her, she was so adorable... Like a nosy squishy piglet with no legs. ^_^

But...
I'm curious now...
Why is it that all a Tama gets to be judged on for its popularity and level of affection is its appearance?
I for one thought my little worm of a Hanatchi and a geeky clumsy Masktchi were, for pixels, delightful company. xD
Especially when you compare them to what you have besides them...
For me, I have a bunch of old alcoholic, drug-addicted old men and women for neighbors... And the kids around here aren't much different.

I mean, we BUY these little trinkets OURSELVES, to make us feel good for whatever reason, and then we give them levels of beauty and popularity based on how weird or cool they come across as?
Is it just me, or don't we have enough of that kind of "step on them" self-esteem boosters in the real world already?
Don't we buy these guys hoping for a "friend" to get AWAY from that kind of company?

Actually I thought my Hanatchi was ugly when I first saw her.. Then she scooted herself up and rubbed her nose all over the screen, and from then on I thought she was the cutest thing on no legs. I was crushed when she died... ='(

Personally I think a Tamagotchi should be given "popularity points" individually based on how well they make their owner feel... You know?

~Fun Fact~
Tamagotchi was invented by a woman who didn't think she deserved much for inventing it; inventors, to put it simply, are pretty suffocated in Japan. New thinking is discouraged, in favor of older, more "merited" ones. [source]
((Don't try don't fail, right?))

Agreed agreed. I think I just lost my love for Masktchi because I got him so much all the time, no matter what I did. I guess that turned me off a bit. But you do bring up quite the good point. Maybe you should go into philosophy =p

Oooooh, I see. ^^
I guess it'd get a little annoying, over and over..
Masktchi's funny tho, so incredibly clumsy..
Heh, I wish I could get another Hanatchi, they're so sweet. ^^

Maybe you should go into philosophy =p
Heh heh, thank you. =)
((You make me blush! Cheesy;; ))
I'm actually very interested in psychology, psychoanalysis. I wish I could more with it... It'll happen, I just need to find that one little piece of info that leads me to the next, you know? ^^
I was a little nervous to submit that, it's easy to stir up bad vibes you didn't mean to in philosophy discussion..
And I really hate to upset people. =(

((And I really hate mixing up the thread topic like that >.<))
I'm still pretty new to the whole world here, I don't really know many Tamas yet...
I thiiink the one I'd expect to see the least of would be... Memetchi.
Haha, I can't stand her. ='p I never seem to get my Tamaki's Creativity stat very high above the others, so she'll probably be hard to get.

I believe that where I live, Masukutchi is the least popular because everybody gets her. Oh, and Gozarutchi is very frequent as well, but everybody just calls him the "ninja dude" and some people reckon he's cool.

Poor Masukutchi... maybe he should take off his mask so he doesn't get recognised as Masukutchi and then labelled.

Actually Masukutchi is a female character. =p

What I hate about the NPCs is the freakin Covetchi!!
The thief always comes and steals money from me, but the worst part is, he makes sure he goes as slow as posible so I have to sit and wait and watch him do it before I can move on with my life!!
Little jerkwod. xD

C0K0M0 -- to those of us who played with Tamas before Connection the gender is up to the caretaker. The gender was not specified on previous versions, to those that had say a P1, was left to decide for themselves rather their Tama was male or female. To me Mimitchi will always be male -- he just seemed male to me when I first saw him, but I know that Bandai has declared him female in the Connections. So *shrug*. Just letting you know where this sort of thing stems from Smiley

Honestly, I just cannot take the football-player looking tamagotchis on the newer tamas. Maskutchi, I think. I forget. But I just can't stand seeing it, for some reason. It sounds horrible, but I'm almost tempted to turn it off if I ever get it.

---This one.
Yea... I think thats the worst one too, maybe its cause I have such a busy schedule that I don,t take care of my sweet little guys and they all turn into that despite all my pausing.

For me and my friends:
Debatchi.
We call him Bucky-tooth Buck Boy. Smiley
He's just so ugly to me....
Idk why. Grin

LOL.
