No matter is it american, european, japanese, korean, chinese, australian. Tell us what comic do you like the most. It can be daily magazine strip comic, a one that's sell only as pocketbook volumes in magazine stores or it can be www comic (like MegaTokyo).
I have couple of favourites;
Peanuts. Everybody knows this one. Charlie Brown, Snoopy and friends with their unique "adultish" child philosophy and insider things like "you never get to kick ball" and Giant Pumpkin.
Charles M. Schwultz (sp?), the creator of Peanuts died couple of years ago, so there's not coming new strips but good old ones re-run in newspapers all over the world.
Another one I like is
BabyBlues, comic that shows daily life of American mid-30's couple that has 3 kids who are definetly most energetic, say-wise and creative children I have ever seen in comic
(Calvin & Hobbes is nothing compared to typhoon trio of Zoe, Hammie and Wren McPherson!). This is also popular comic around the world and is published in newspapers in many countries.
I have laughed many of the most "sweet" laughs of my life reding BabyBlues comic.
Then there is Finnish mega-popular (mostly in Finland and some European countries) daily strip comic
Viivi & Wagner, somewhat surrealistic product of Finnish comic artist who calls himself "Juba".
Viivi is ordinary lady in her mid 20's who studies in university, and Wagner is pig. He sure walks on 2 legs and talks, but he still considers himself pig and lives kinda "piggy" life.
Viivi and Wagner live together, thou they aren't married (which is common misunderstandment along V&W readers), and Viivi & Wagner actually shows us how women sometimes see men as "pigs" who just lay on cough and drink beer.
Wagner has often really visionary ideas (and Viivi needs to drag him down from his "cloud castles") and starts new hobbies (like collecting stamps or reading through A-to-Z dictionary bookset) but then forgets them.
I've got many good laughs with V&W also.
