I'm sorry I missed this hatching, the end of Uni holidays was spent at my friend Joshs' place, we stayed up for 2 days straight and didn't get a chance to get on the internet much at all.

But, thanks Elana for the details about the hatch! It sounds like it went well, I look forward to reading of the Tama's progresses. ^.^

I posted this in my log this morning, Augst changed into a Zouritichi this morning. I didn't see or hear her change because I was in another room, but here is a picture of her: http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s39/K-StateFry/ZouritchiV4.5Globe.jpg

I'm really enjoying caring for Augst and the V4.5 in general, the new games are alot of fun and relatively easy.    Grin

I missed the hatch and woke up 1,5hrs later at 4:20am (9:20pm EST). I had put my Nintendo DS's alarm on and then shut the whole device when it started to play the alarm sound at 2:55am (5min before the hatch). I woke up 1h 20mins later all of a sudden and was like "DAMN!"

I was too tired to take care of newborn Tama there in the middle of the night so I hatched my USA V4 (thanks Kat Wink) next morning and tried to take perfect care while it was in newborn stage.
(I played with it while eating cereal in Sunday breakfast table, and dad (whose place I was visiting) was like "Do you still have those beeping toys??". I was like, "yeah actually 5 and this one I got from United States". He was Shocked for awhile.

Baby girl came outta the egg and I named her Ondo (ondo is name for one japanese traditional music style). She jumped a lot of rope and took nap, and then jumped more rope.
After an hour she transformed into a Mizutamatchi, and 11am today she became happy-go-lucky Ichigotchi who's studying Kindness as her primary subject and dreams of becoming a Kuchipatchi ...thou it's impossible cause she's girl.

I have played a lot of Jump-the-Rope and Mimic with her, she has gone to school a lot, and now she has 3 new exciting games to play like Flags and Shape.

Her skill status is now;

Intelligience 31
Arts 43
Kindness 64

She has only 3 discipline bars cause I have been doing noisy outdoor work yesterday and today and haven't heard when she has beeped in my pocket for praise/scold. I try to check her screen more often tomorrow.

  Madoka-san's Second Day

I did the same thing this morning that I did yesterday: woke up to my alarm but kept hitting snooze. Madoka-san was in bed next to me and I would check her every once in a while. She had grown into a Ringotchi, and she was hardly needy at all. I was able to sleep in until noon and she really needed hardly any attention.

She came with me to Angelo's place to see his new Wii (I talked more about it in my regular log - if you read that too, pardon my redundancy). I brought all four active Tamagotchi with me. Everyone else was paused but Madoka-san on the trip downtown. So she got to see the inside of the bus and the subway, when I took her out to check on her. I caught a discipline or two on the voyage so hopefully I didn't miss anything.

She was nestled on my tummy while I was watching Angelo play Zelda: Twilight Princess, so she could enjoy the graphics too. She fell asleep while I was there. I thought that was very cute, because I tend to fall asleep when I'm at Angelo's too. It's because I am lying on his bed in the dark with just the flickering light of the TV.

I still haven't been able to afford anything that the salesman brings by on his cart. Today he brought a big seashell. I am getting better at the musical note catching game. It's quite fun, really. I should start playing more often than just when Madoka-san needs to fill a happy heart, so that I can start building up more Gotchi points and start shopping.

I fed her mostly onigiri today also, but pasta at lunch time because I was having pizza again, and a hot dog at dinner because Angelo and I went out to Harvey's (a Canadian hamburger fast-food place). A few times she had an empty happy heart but refused to play any games, so she had something that I'm having trouble identifying but I thought she would like it. Three little balls on a skewer - anyone have any ideas what it is?

The first day of Melvin the girl:

I hate myself sometimes. We are on vacation (I'll have to post about it on the AFF) and because you can't bring running electronics on the plane, I tabbed my V1. However, when I got here in Newfoundland, I went to pull the tab and due to habit, I accidentally pressed 'reset' rather than 'download'. I almost broke it because I tried to reset, but there was no stick suitable to do that. So I stuck the tab in it and pulled it back out. This pulled a kind of 'Dr. Tamagotchi' and glitched the screen and sound, then turned off. I pushed the tab all the way in, waited, and pulled it out again. It was permanently reset, I couldn't get dear Melvin the Ichigotchi back.

So I did what I could - I could only hatch a girl for some reason so I took the girl but I am still referring to Melvin as a 'him'. It doesn't really affect anything on this version other than the baby. Melvin is a Marutchi again, I hope to get him to being an Ichigotchi again and hopefully, I won't be behind too far.

Sorry for screwing up, guys. Sad

  Madoka-san's Third Day

I had a relaxing morning with Madoka-san. I pulled her and my laptop into bed and we checked TSS together. Later, we took the bus downtown together so that I could meet with my trainer (a graduation gift from my parents). I had to pause her while I was at the gym. My trainer didn't show up, so after a brief cardio workout, I went back to my apartment to shower. I looked down at Madoka-san and saw the traveling salesman instead of a clock screen. She really doesn't want to stay paused! I bought a piece of squid from the salesman and fixed the time on the clock. The clock was only behind by four minutes, so she had only stayed paused for four minutes. Roll Eyes She is such a precocious child.

I had dinner with Luke and tried to show her to him, but he was still too tired of hearing about it from when I was blabbing on the phone. Grin So I just quietly cared for her when he wasn't looking.

She fell asleep while I was still at Luke's, and she slept through the transit ride home.

I fed her more pasta today, but as usual, mostly onigiri. I don't think I missed more than one heart at a time.

Well, now my situation can be compared to Melvin having been paused for 2 days and had a gender change (that I will be ignoring)

Melvin is an Ichigotchi again. He was with me all day, except for 12 noon to 1:30 PM, as I was on a boat then and didn't want to risk getting my Tamagotchi V1 injured.

  Madoka-san's Fourth Day

At 9:00 this morning, I heard the Keitai transformation music, and then the song that plays when you win a game. That was because I was getting a bag of Gotchi points for Madoka-san's final transformation. Smiley And she became... a Flowertchi! Cheesy I'm very proud of myself for getting the healthiest character. I really wanted it this time.

Madoka-san went on another bus/subway trip today, because I was having lunch with my grandmother. I paused all my other Tamagotchi just before my grandmother's bus stop, but of course Madoka-san stayed unpaused. She got to sit beside my plate while we ate lunch (salmon patties, mashed potatos and corn, mmm!). She got to balance on the armrest of the cozy chair in the TV room while we talked after lunch. I was able to tend to her discreetly because I don't think my grandmother can hear the high pitched beeps anymore.

I must have missed the traveling salesman today, because I didn't see him at all.

Today I mostly fed her fish, because that's what I ate for lunch. Smiley Between meals, of course, I fed her onigiri, but since she's an adult now she doesn't get hungry as often.

My parents got home from Florida tonight. I was like, "Mom, you want to see the little creature I named after you?" And she was like, "Ohh, fine." And I showed her and unexpectedly she said, "Oh, cute!"

She also helped me to decipher some of the few menu items I couldn't figure out.

Well, I've not posted about my Morino Tamagotch on this page yet, whom I hatched the other night in the group hatch.. A few things have happened, but the hard part does not begin until he goes into his cocoon. Wink

Here is a picture of my Morino! Below you can see what it looks like.

Well I hatched the white egg on my Morino, since there is much more variety of characters from that egg. I only hatched the spotted egg once. In two minutes my little white egg hatched.

As soon as he hatched he went to bed, since that one hour of demand is not present. At this point he was a Babymotchi and he remained in this form for the whole day of August 5th.

So on the morning of August 6th, as soon as Babymotchi awoke he changed into Imotchi.

Now that he is an Imotchi he eats leaves in addition to other foods that change every threee hours. In the morning time he eats leaves and cherries, afternoon he eats leaves and ice-cream and in the nights he eats leaves and seeds. The food pattern never changes in this stage. Once he becomes an adult, there will be even more choices of foods for him.

I feel that I am doing good with my little critter so far. In the past it has always been hard for me to get new characters on this Tama. So far I have gotten the best character Minotchi and the worst character, Funkorogatchi. It seems hard to get anything in the middle. I did get a secret characer at one time, so that adds up to 3 adults I have had on this Tama, which is not a lot considering I have been playing with my Morino since early March.

One other thing that I want to mention here before ending this is the fact that this Tama has an overhead veiw/screen saver. I think I mentioned this in my log, but I will mention it here as well. I found this really annoying at first, but I've gotten used to it now. If I want to watch my critter moving about his screen, I just have to press a button to restore the screen. Cheesy

I'll have more once my little guy goes into his cocoon! Wink
