Madoka-san's First Day

I mistakenly thought Hitodetchis wake up at 8:00 AM, so I set my alarm for eight. I pulled Madoka-san out of the drawer and saw that she was still asleep. I call that a pleasant surprise! It turns out that she sleeps until 9:00.
Of course, I gave myself an inch and took a mile, and slept in until ten. My excitement for having a Keitai did get me to check her status whenever the snooze alarm went. She was a very good girl and actually didn't need any attention for that entire hour!
Normally, I just take Pink Tama to work with me, and pause everyone else. But when I tried to pause Madoka-san, it didn't work! It turns out that A + B doesn't pause Keitais. I could have just gone to the clock set screen, but I decided thatI just shouldn't pause her. I'm playing with her old-school.

I held her in my hand while I walked to work. I haven't done that in a very, very long time. Goes to show how excited I am about her. She is so pretty. The paint seems glossier, the screen is still so new and unscratched (compared to my other Tamas), and the colours are very well coordinated. My HK V2 also has the plastic tag instead of the keyring, but it's a yellow tag with a dark pink body - doesn't look so good. The Keitai has a true pink shell and a dark pink tag - looks very adorable. I kept looking at her while I walked.

She and
Mav (the Kuchipatchi on Pink Tama) got a place of honour at work today. Normally I keep Pink Tama behind me, next to the phone, but today because I had my Keitai, I wanted to keep closer watch. So they both settled on a corner of the cash register, so I could glance down at them whenever I wanted.
She was a very good girl, and I was able to take very good care of her. It helps that she reminds me with small beeps whenever she poops. She was frequently hungry, and I tried to give her a balanced diet. I fed her mostly onigiri. I got vegetable tempura udon for lunch from the Japanese restaurant in our plaza, so I fed her fish while I ate my lunch.
The man with the cart came by on the Keitai while I was at work, selling something that I didn't recognize. I didn't have enough Gotchi points for it anyway.
I bought a little gift for my friend Angelo, so I was carrying that in my hand on the walk home. So Madoka-san went into my purse. She was tucked into the corner of my vinyl cowprint mini-backpack from 1997 - soooo tacky, but just the right size for work, and won't get dirty. I don't want to scare off the comic shop customers by being too fashiony.

She's been at my side all evening, while I ate dinner, and while I played half-hour-long phone tag with the toy department at my local Wal-Mart.

Long story short: they don't have 4.5's yet.

The travelling salesguy came back while I was eating dinner, to try to sell a melon. I couldn't afford it either.

Dinner for me was pizza, and for Madoka-san, it was pasta.

She's gone to sleep now, a happy little star, full on all hearts.
