Like how do I get it a good job? Maybe make it grow up quicker?

Are the V4's better than the V3's?

Getting a good job unfortunately takes some work.  First you pick your "majour" when you grow a teenage character, Intellect, Arts, or Kindness.  That's the Pencil, the Start, and the Flower, respectively.  Once you get a good amount in those, try for around 50-100 for better jobs, more options will become available.  Play the Shapes game to raise your Intellect, the Dance game to raise your Arts, and the Flags game to raise your Kindness.

I personally like v4.5 best because of the games, but I like the v4 characters MUCH better.  Especially the Mame family's secret character.  My v3 doesn't seem to add up to the two of them at all . . .
