I was looking for what's new in official Japanese Tamagotchi page and found out that the upcoming Tamagotchi full-lenght anime movie (in Japan 15/Dec/2007) already has official page;

(Note: eiga is japanese for "movie" or "film")

There seems to be plenty of personalized characters in the movie, like female YoungMametchi who has pink cap and ribbon in her head (awwz...), something that looks like "BabyDebirutchi", something that looks like "adult Kuribotchi" and KuroMametchi (the tough-guy Mametchi from TamaSchool). And don't forget about Mametchi, Kuchipatchi, Memetchi and Flowertchi/Leaftchi, they are also in!

Not much is known about the movie yet. There seems to be a human girl who befriends a group of real-life Tamagotchis.

I try to look for early trailer and romanjise the japanese names of new characters later.

Here's the main characters of the movie

The girl is named Tanpopo which means dandelion (aww...  )

Mame, Meme and Kuchi have their 'normal' names.

And the pink YoungMametchi is named "Cha Mametchi". I don't yet know what "cha" means, but it's definetly something cute 

The subpage that is going to host the trailer of the movie is not yet finished, so we need just to wait.

I'm really liking the animation style shown here. The kuchipatchi is adorable. I think I'd watch it just for that.

The first post in tamaeiga.com News section was dated 3/July/2007. The webpage was created then, I think.

Advertisements of becoming movie and webpage could have been in some japanese girls' magazine (like Shoujo Beat) before July so the info in Wikipedia page could have been picked from there.

I haven't seen any video-y Tamagotchi stuff aside from that short show thing, where they came from te Tamagotchi planet to get a relic from Earth.. But that was on YouTube and such bad video-audio syncing I just couldn't keep watching it.
Seriously, the timing was like 30 seconds off. =_=
Does anyone know what the synopsis is yet?

Aaaaaw, CUUTE!     I thought the Furawatchi was soooo adorable.  (Of course, everyone knows I have a total soft spot for those, anyway, but...)  I thought that the girl looked like something from Pokemon, at least in the style of the eyes.  This could be interesting...

EARLY TRAILER

The name of the movie seems to be "Tamagotchi: Dokidoki! Uchuu no Maigotchi!?" what translates roughly to "Tamagotchi: This is Heart-Pounding! Child Lost In Space!?"
(with "tchi" in the end of word "maigo", which means "lost child" LOL)

The dialogue of the trailer was translated by TamaZone user Tamashi-gotchi, and it goes somewhat like this;

Mametchi is creating some sort of time-travelling experiment in MameCity in Planet Gotchi, and the experiment goes all wrong leading to human girl Tanpopo teleporting into Planet Gotchi on a shootingstar.
Now Mametchi and his friends Memetchi and Kuchipatchi need to find a way to get the girl succesfully back to Earth, and same time they become curious of the Planet Earth and want to go there for exploration...

...also it seems that Planet Gotchi starts to get some kind of earthquakes and the citizens go in panic. Ok, who did gave Planet Gotchi a bottle of rice wine this time..?

Now we need to wait for December and next Spring to get a fansubbed copy of the movie

Wow wow wow, I would LOVE to see it! Is it going to have english subtitles? I hope so much though.
