[Chi]

So, the other day I was just playing with my Tamas, and I came across an interesting puzzle.  For a while it had me stumped, but I've finally figured out one solution for it.  As far as I can tell, that is the only solution for it.  To see, I am challenging YOU to solve this Brain Teaser!

SOME BASIC STUFF
The puzzle will not work on Tamagotchi Mini, Arukotch or Pocket Pikachu.  There have to be three buttons on the Tamagotchi for you to solve my Brain Teaser, if you want to play by the rules.     Japanese or English Tamas will work, as will Classics, Specials (Mesu/Osu, Morino), or Connections.

YOUR CHALLENGE
As we all know, there are three buttons on the Tamagotchi: A (Select), B (Confirm), and C (cancel).  What you have to do is navigate to "somewhere" on the Tamagotchi, and then make it back to the main screen, to the point where no icons are lit.  The catch?  You have to hit the A, B, and C buttons the same number of times. 

Example:  On my V3, I press A four times, to the Games Icon, then I press B three times, to access the games menu, to select GAME, and then GET NOTES.  My Tama doesn't want to play, so then I press C twice.  The first press makes my Tama stop shaking her head, and the second deselects the icon.  So now I am back on the main screen, and no icons are lit.  However, I have NOT solved the puzzle, because I didn't press A, B, and C the same number of times.

Good luck, all!  If nobody can figure it out for a while, I'll post a hint.  Also, I'd like to see if anyone discovers another solution that I didn't think of.

I came up with a solution, I think... somehow I feel like this solution is somewhat cheap?

I press A, B, and C, twice each on my Connection V1, each in consecutive order.
A, A -> food icon lit
B, B -> food selected, meal selected
C, C -> interrupt character while eating, extinguish food icon

Ha ha ha, my Tarakotchi is stuffed now after the experimentation, he won't eat anymore.

This was a really cool idea. There must be other solutions.

Oooh, Elana, you've already bested me.  I didn't think of that one!  (On the other hand, MY solution is still safe.  *gleam*)

Or you could press A to get to the stats icon, B to enter the stats, B to shift a page, A to shift another, C to get out, and C to get back to having no icons lit.
