OK, I have an update. At 4:30 this afternoon, the Tamas started the animation again. This time, I was expecting it, so I was able to get a closer look at their motions. Their side-to-side motions on the bottom row of pixels is accurate, but I have a bit to clarify.
The Marumimitchi had diamond eyes, and appeared to be going

. The ear on its FAR SIDE (i.e. if the Tama was going right, the left ear, and vice versa) was normal, but the ear on its NEAR SIDE looked like it had been stretched out...it was tall, thin, and perfectly straight. Its arms were normal. By the arm on its NEAR SIDE there were three little dots arranged in a vertical pattern, and two short lines over the ear on its FAR SIDE. When it would reach the center, it would make the "happy face" it makes, where it has blush marks on its cheeks.
The Decotchi would simply face the direction it was going and head that way with his usual frownie face. However, it appeared to have some sort of pack on its back. When it reached the center, it would turn around backwards, where the pack would look like an envelope.
Has anyone else experienced this? I never have, and I'm quite puzzled.
