I would too, i get super paranoid when anything tries to install itself. I kept watching my activity logs all night that night I got that backdoor virus.. i still paranoid even though norton caught it Wink

That is quite strange, glad it seems fine now.

Hahaha me too. We got it the day of the release.. Brendan follows video game news pretty closely and he had been anticipating the second one since.. well since he got the first one a year or so ago - whenever that one came out.

Tonight we were walking out of Walmart and saw a kid carrying a Guitar Hero II box hehe.. guess it's getting popular.

Quite a few people here are into it, I've been tempted to get a PS2 just to own it. But I get to play it whenever we go to friends houses, they like to play it LOUD. I'm sure they'll snag up the second one as soon as it comes out in Australia.  Wink

No doubt, it's very addicting and very fun Smiley Some of the music is... so-so but some of its really really good Smiley They put a great selection in the second version, more so then the first. Though.. I had not heard many of the songs on the first one and they grew on me.

I love that they have Heart Shaped Box by Nirvana on the second Guitar Hero. I love that song and it feels the way it sounds when I play it.. it's so natural feeling, because I knew the song well I did really good on my first time though it. They did such a good job on this game. Smiley

The songs I love from the first one are the Audioslave, QOTSA, oh Motorhead and Hendrix. They were awesome to play.

:O I just looked up II. A song of Wolfmother (go Australia!).

At my brother's place in vegas, he has an LCD projector shooting guitar hero on the wall stretching 7 feet across with 7.1 surround. He's just a tad obsessed, but it's amazing to play it like that.

The second one's awesome, all the good stuff from the first one, and some new additions in this one. The multiplayer modes are spectacular. Now Kat and I can play together, even at difficulty levels, and still have fun.

I think my favorites so far are Sweet Child 'o Mine and Miserlou. Freebird on Hard is killing me though ><
