Lately it has been HOT. Most days this month have been over 100°F (38° C). It has got me wanting the fall to arriver as soon as possible. I know.. what a cheeseball topic but it's only 10:30am and it's so hot here already, so I felt like complaining  Roll Eyes

I enjoy the fall most because the leaves change color and fall from the trees and most of all it really begins to cool down. I really do like winter too, as I prefer it colder. There's something about walking about the appartment in big poofy socks when it's cold.

In years past, I would have answered "summer" without a second thought. Summer is the season of my birthday, but most importantly it's the season with no school. But now I have graduated from school and it's no longer a concern!

Winter is absolutely out of the question. Although I do love my winter coat and gloves and scarves and everything - they almost make up for it - but getting windburn on your face when you go out long enough to get to the subway - that sucks. Being trapped indoors because of extreme weather warnings - that sucks. Sore throats from the heater drying out your apartment - that sucks. Maybe if I was more into winter sports I would change my mind, but I so am not.

I associate spring too much with final exams, so I don't know if I'll ever be able to enjoy it. Spring is ironically associated with endings to me - end of the school year, time to say goodbye to your friends for the summer, etc. And often, spring in Toronto = slush and yuck as the snow melts. Not so pretty.

I have to say I like fall the best. Summer is just too hot! I love cool breezes and light jackets. Whenever I think of autumn, I always think of going to the zoo. Long walks looking at animals with a light jacket slung over my arm and the wind in my hair and the trees so beautiful! Autumn always feels like a fresh start for something. It's a time to tuck away extra food for the winter, and prepare to hibernate. It's the time when we can finally stop wearing tank tops and slathering on sunscreen and bring out the fluffy clothes again!

Fall and winter are my favorite seasons of all - my favorite months being October, November and December. The reason fall is my favorite season is because the hot summer weather has finally passed, and once the fall comes, there is so much to look forward to, lots of exciting holidays and events! Cheesy

Once December comes, it begins to snow and I love the snow when it is fresh and new. I also really like the cold weather because I like to wear a lot of hoodies and winter vests. At this point, Christmas is on it's way, and that is always an exciting time for me, because Christmas is my favorite holiday.

Even though I have the summer off, I really hate the hot summer weather. I end up staying in on hot days because I cannot tolerate the heat at all. Spring is an ok season, but I always find I have to concentrate really hard on school at that point, so I don't get to do a lot.

So yes, I really love the fall and witer! Those months always bring back such nice memories and they will forever be my favorite Cheesy.

I've always loved Autumn.

I think it is just a most beautiful time of the year. Australia gets some killer Summers, so to know that Autumn is here, and that cooler weather is just around the corner, it's nice.

I would say Winter, but I love nightwalking too much. Sometimes the cold windy weather of Winter puts me off such walks, but Autumn seems to be just right.

I would have to say Spring and Autumn are my favourite times of the year. It's not too cold and it's not too hot. Canada Day here was a lot more like Autumn temps to me and I just was in love with it. My birthday falls under Spring, and with that lots of new flowers, lots of nights filled with me falling asleep listening to rain and just the whole springtime atmosphere that falls on people and animals. This is why I love both seasons.

Sure Summer and Winter has their moments where the day seems perfect, but I look forward to the temperatures levelling into a balance that is idealistic for me Cheesy

Wow, Autumn's really winning here!

I, too, love Autumn. The weather is beautiful, the leaves change colour, and school begins again.
And, of course, Hallowe'en.
I love Hallowe'en.

There are pros and cons to each season, like there is to anything. I tend to find, though, that the good things about Autumn (as many have already listed) outweigh the bad.

I would have to say Winter.  I like everything about it: the snow, the wind, and most importantly, the fact that winter allows you to ice skate OUTSIDE!   Wink

It's a tie between summer and winter.

Pro's of winter-You get to make stuff out of snow, you can tobbogan,as Chi said skate out side etc

Con's of winter:windburn, frostbite, getting sweaty in your snow suit, finding out there's no hot chocolate when you come in and you are REALLY cold etc

Pro's of summer: Swimming, going to the beach,my birthday,NO SCHOOL, time to play with our tamas etc

Con's of summer: SO HOT!!! You can get bored,...

I'm outa ideas for the cons of summer. Feel free to add on to this list!

I'm gonna go with the group and also say autumn. I hate the heat, and I love it when its a little chilly outside, as long as I'm not caught in it with nothing but a cami on. Towards the end of autumn, I can wear my really furry boots (yeti style!) and not get too hot in them. I love hoodie weather, for the most part. Just a hoodie and no need to wear a huge jacket over it.
