Weirdly, the character who would leap into my head if someone cried Tama would be Babitchi. That's where every tama starts.

Mametchi, because Bandai has been using Memetchi,Mametchi,and Kuchipatchi in advertising since the Connections came out.And even though I was very,very young when the originals came out, what I have heard was that Bandai used Mametchi in that advertising, too. My friend that has had her tama for 9 or so months knows almost all the characters...but didn't know who Mimitchi was! I asked some other friends if they knew if Mimitchi was a Tama character and they said no, so I'm guessing Mimitchi's popularity has dropped a lot or was never very popular. I like Mametchi(the new version, not the old version) the best,Mimitchi in close second.
