For all you USA users, I hope you have an awesome fourth of July, I plan on going to a fireworks show in a town near me.
I was also hoping to buy some fireworks of my own and set those off, but I don't know for sure whether I will find the time.

So, does anyone else here have any plans to celebrate Independence Day?
It's Elana birthday, so I'm sure she will have her own thing going on. Smiley

Props to anyone who can give a really good description of the fireworks show in their town.

(yet another good reason to post, members who haven't yet. Also could be a good reason to sign up  Wink )

Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!!!

Brendan and I had a nice dinner out a bit before the show then we drove by the Columbia River. There are many boats of various types out in the water, their presence creating little dots of lights all over the surface of the water. It was a beautiful sight. The park was filled with cars and there were people literally everywhere.

Last year we didnt watch because we just had come in from the trip from California and we were exhausted.

We ended up parking in our apt parking lot to watch the show. The show started at 10pm and lasted 45 minutes, longer then I expected. We had a great view, which was surprising since there are so many trees between us and the water - it just worked out great though.

It was a nice evening overall Smiley
