Great web-based virtual pet game, very different from the popular Neopets in that it's about raising pets, rather than gaining money and improving your status. The pets are constructed around the Hierarchy of Basic Needs. I'm Fox The Great on it, if you want to look me up. I haven't been on in a while, they're occasionally pretty needy.
