Welcome back! It's good to see you here again Cheesy.

Wow, that's so cool that you are going to Japan. I'm sure that you will find some great Tamagotchi related stuff over there. I hope you have fun! ^^

If you find any Tamagotchi-related stuff in Japan, you could make a small fortune selling it to all of us. Wink It would pay for part of your trip!

But - although I hate to be a downer - don't get your hopes up. I have family in Japan who are always on the lookout for Tamagotchi stuff for me, and the craze there is so intense usually that it's simply nowhere to be found. People get Tamagotchi by lining up in stores on the day of release. It's not like here at all, where you can mozy on down to your Toys R' Us and pick it up on sale. Japan is much more trend-driven, so when things are hot, you can't find it anywhere, and when things aren't cool anymore, stores just stop stocking it because they're trying to stock the newest craze.

But good luck, and I really really hope I'm wrong!

I'm in Beijing China right now and I found a Tama in a toy store here!  They are only up to version 3 ... which is semi odd since they are manufactured here... but anyways, it's exactly the same as my Hong Kong version 3 tamas.  Nothing too exciting

Oh, and maybe they will not be out of Tamagotchi related things because I'm only going to Tokyo and you'd think they'd have to keep plenty of stock there... I could be very wrong and they might have even less there due to excess people though... But last time I sent someone out for Tamas in Tokyo they even found the right color that I wanted with no trouble!  I'm hoping that will be true this time!
