The ISS Space Moth was one of the most infamous space pirate vessels in the galaxy. It had endured numerous amazing adventures and life-threatening crises, all in the name of:

Money! Glory! And Gotchis!

Yes, they were Tamagotchi Space Pirates, sailing nebulae and solar systems in search of the most amazing and exotic Tamagotchis that humanity has ever seen!

Back in the 21st century, the discovery was made that the high executives of Bandai were actually helping to save a group of alien species from extinction, by porting them into little electronic eggs. When it was found that in nearby solar systems, real fuzzy versions of this creature were slowly dying out, there was a sudden huge renewal in the space program as millions upon billions of little kids (and adults who were young at heart) cried out, "We must save them! We must save them and CUDDLE THEM!"

A burgeoning industry responded, with hundreds of space vessels commissioned with interstellar capabilities to go and retrieve the Tamagotchi from their dying planets, so that they can be rehabilitated on Earth in fabulous Gotchi Gardens. But the greatest ship of all, the most legendary, is the ISS Space Moth.

I am looking for a crew to outfit the Space Moth! I will be playing Captain Fatefire, the plucky young space pirate who sailed the Horsehead Nebula in search of the infamous Lucky Unchi-kun. I also need a first officer, a tactical officer, a navigator, a science officer, a doctor, and an engineer. If you have ideas for other characters, I'd be happy to read them! A quick physical description and summary of the character is cool with me.

We can work out more details later, but please join in the fun!

This looks so fun!  If you want me to, I'd be delighted to play the navigator!  One question, though: Are we supposed to be humans?  I was a bit unclear on that.  When you answer, I'll post a bio for my character.

My idea was for the crew to be human, but if you have a really great idea for a non-human, I'd love to hear it! I can't wait to hear your bio.

Name:  Anneliesse Weindmore
Species:   Human
Country of Origin:   Germany
Occupation:  Navigator/Linguist
Personality Type:  She's rich, but instead of being braggy she's extremely shy.
Job (on ship):  to plot course, to decipher alien messages, and to locate any sort of ultrasonic signal obtained by the Tiger Moth

Anything else you need to know?

EDIT:  I had a typo in the Occupation: she is actually the ship's NAVIGATOR/LINGUIST.

Thanks for your application, Lenni! With your application, it looks like we have enough people to start playing. Smiley I have PMed Brendan with a request to start a child board for us to play on.

For everyone else, I am still taking applications! As long as you're willing to jump in the middle of the game, please apply for our remaining positions!

Remaining positions:
  • First Officer
  • Tactical Officer
  • Doctor

Congratulations everyone for taking us through the first stage of TSS's first ever Structured Game!

Thanks for the application, Crystal! I'm sorry but the engineer position is already filled by Brendan.

As I said earlier, the available positions are:
First Officer
Tactical Officer
and Doctor.

Also, please watch your grammar and spelling in your application! These Structured Games are meant to be taken a little more seriously than the Free-For-All games in the Free-For-All Section. There, you can spell and write however you like. Wink

If you think we need a First Officer, my character, Anneliesse, could double as that, or I could create a second character.  It wouldn't be any trouble.  But if anyone else would like to be that position, I would back down.   Grin
