::Hey everyone! Here's your chance to imagine your Tamagotchi characters in Bandai High, the biggest high school in the capital city of Tamagotchi Planet! Don't forget to introduce your character. What's his/her name? What grade is s/he in? Which type of Tamagotchi is s/he? I'll start with my character for example and we can all play together.::

It's the first day of school at Bandai High. The leaves on the trees are just starting to turn colour, and the hot summer days are starting to get blown away by cool autumn breezes. It's been a wonderful summer, so it's with a mixture of anticipation and reluctance that all the Tamagotchi trudge back into their schools.

This is Oryza's fourth and last year at Bandai High. She's a Mametchi, with shiny black fur and big, bright eyes. She's enjoyed her years of high school, but she's ready for the excitement of her graduating year. She's happy in her close circle of friends, but she always likes to meet new people. She's not really the athletic type; like many Mametchis, she prefers to read, and study, and write little stories to take her imagination away with her.

Oryza looks down at her agenda, where she had written down her schedule. Her first class of the year was History: upstairs, and in the corner of the school. She sighs, and remembers that that classroom was the one with the broken thermostat that was always too hot. Ah well. Here she goes.

Shouldering her backpack, she heads for the classroom, smiling and catching up with old schoolmates on her way. She settles down in a seat - front row, of course - but before the teacher arrives, she turns around a bit to look at the people in her class. A lot of them are new faces. That's a good thing! She definitely felt like she wanted to meet new people, so this year would be the best year of high school she'd ever had.

::Okay, your turn! Since this is a free-for-all, everyone is welcome to post, participate and enjoy! Just introduce your character and start writing!::

First day of school. History class. Arjen the Kusatchi had his headphones blaring, sitting quietly in the back row corner. He always liked his music playing, it sent him off to his own little world, and it often brought him strife from the teachers about it.

He was looking forward to going back to school. He was finally in final year of Bandai High. His Summer was spent working in the Post Office back in TamaTown. He liked working there, but he was anxious to get back to his studies. He has goals, you see. He wants to go on to study music arts.

History class had always been a struggle for Arjen, as well as Science. Too much memory work, he loved classes in which he could express his creativity, like English and of course, Music class.

He looked around, he noticed a Mametchi in the front row looking around too. He knew of Oryza but never really spoke to her before. Would they have anything in common, at all? Perhaps he could grab a chance to say hi, he is after-all a nice fellow.

His best pal wasn't there yet in class. Which is odd, he's usually always there before him, especially on first day of the year. After reluctantly taking out his earphones, he folded his arms and waited for the teacher to get the lesson rollin'.

Looking around the classroom, Oryza makes eye contact with a Kusatchi in the back row. She recognized him from some of the band performances during Gotchi Independence Day celebrations at school. He always rocked out so hard on stage, and put his heart and soul into his music. Some of her friends had secret crushes on him, but Oryza had never really thought about him until now. Impulsively, she wagged her puffy black ears at him in greeting. But before she could register a response from him, the teacher came in to the room.

He was a very tall Ginjirotchi, who always wore a brown felt hat that made him look like Indianazotchi Jones. His name was Mr. Wand.

He hung his coat up on the back of the door as he kicked it shut. "Good morning class!" he said in a ringing voice. "Let's get started with history!" He handed out the class syllabus, and each little Gotchi passed the pages back until everyone got one.

Oryza scanned the sheet and saw: 30% of the mark is for a group presentation! She immediately looked up and around the room. How big will the groups be? How will she choose who's in it? Will she be stuck with slackers who will leave her with all the work? She met the gaze of many other young Gotchis, the anxiety in their eyes showing that they were pondering the same things.

But they all had to wait for the answers until Mr. Wand was finished droning on about readings and homework and quizzes...

"And as for the group assignment, you'll be preparing it in pairs." Two Memetchis grabbed each other by the hand, hoping to work together. "I've made the groups alphabetically." The whole class groaned. Who knows how they'll be paired up?

Mr. Wand went down the class list, saying who would be working with whom on the biggest project of the year. "Arjen Kusajko, and Oryza Mameshima."

Oryza's black eyes blinked in surprise. Now that was something she wasn't expecting. She looked over her shoulder at the Kusatchi in the back. Now this should be interesting... She offers him a friendly smile. Who knows if he's any good at history, but at least it looks like she'll be making a new friend...

Sitting in the back of the classroom, Heyzen Kamoshizo sat nervously peering out from his downturned eyelids, sneaking peeks at the activity around him.

Heyzen's headphones played some obscure bands' album he picked up at the local Spin 'n Sound. He preferred to drown out the world around him. He dressed extremely casually, his clothes older then most kids his age wore. This did not bother him, but he was aware he stuck out like a sore thumb when it came to fashion sense.

Heyzen is a shy Hashizotchi who spent most of his life as a loner, doing his own thing. Walking all these miles but going no where, the road seemed endless and confusing. But for now he needed to focus on his classes.

Heyzen was deeply relieved that this year was the final year at Bandai High. Heyzen wasn't a bad kid, he just felt more often then not he did not belong with his peers. Everyday life bored him and he sought to reach out to places beyond the routine and mundane of everyday life.

Heyzen's jaw clenched as Mr. Wand announced the planning of pairs for the big project...

He just wanted lunch to hurry up and come around so he could enjoy his delicious mayonnaise burger and cabbage with ketchup...

"Arjen Kusajko, and Oryza Mameshima."

Arjen felt a sense of dread coming over him. He knew Oryza was a good student, she worked hard and he felt that his lack of skill in research and History in general would bring her marks down. She smiled to him from the from row and he waved back, well, at least he'll be getting his chance to say hello now!

"This term we will be learning of the Egg of Time. We will be learning of Captain Snowbear, Chief Blue-Face and of course, Tray Memon. Now, we've all heard of the tale, but there are many versions of how it goes. It is our goal this term for you to explore the historical tale. The required text for this is a popular resource, 'The Egg of Time' by Brendan Quinn."

Mr. Wand walked to the cupboard next to his desk and pulled out a rather large, heavy box. Great, thought Arjen, another history book.. full of facts.. and dates. Ah!

"Heyzen, could you please hand these out, one to each student?"

::Sorry for the delay. I've honestly never done this kind of RP before and felt sort of stuck on how to write something worth reading. Sorry about that.. I hope this is alright... I'll try and reply sooner next time.

PS: I so cracked up at the use of the comic, too funny, great idea!::

Heyzen stood up carefully from his desk, trying hard not to do anything to draw any further attention to himself. His eyes darted around stealing peaks at the other students as he walked up the isle. He noticed they appeared to be mostly happy to be here, but he could not understand why.

As Heyzen arrived at the desk, he was quick to open the dusty flaps on the box and peer inside. Captain Snowbear stared back at him. Heyzen stared at Snowbear, but his eyes did not focus. He felt the ever pressuring invisible touch of other eyes watching him, the eyes clinging to him like barnacles.

Heyzen heaved a silent "argh" and picked up the box. He moved along carefully as he approached the first desk with the box. His hand shook a bit as he dug out a copy of the book and handed the first one to Oryza...

Oryza tried not to wince as Heyzen hoisted the box of textbooks. Seated as she was, right at the front, she could feel the waves of anxiety coming off the poor Hashizotchi, and the way he couldn't bear to raise his eyes to look at the rest of the class. She felt sudden strong resentment of Mr. Wand for putting him through this.

She tried to smile at him as he handed her a copy of the book. She immediately bent her head to flip through it. So she didn't see Heyzen falter as he tried to lift the box back up — she didn't see the worn-out cardboard edges start to give — the top layer of books start sliding off the pile — the cardboard finally tearing open, to let the books slip free and knock her soundly between the fluffy black ears!

Clonk, clonk, clonk, six or seven heavy hardcover textbooks angled to doink her right on their corners, toppled through the air one after another. "Ow! Owowowow…" She tried to move away but they were coming in such fast succession, she just ended up getting bashed in the nose and falling backwards out of her seat and landing hard on the ground in a daze.

Heyzen's view had been blocked by the box itself as he tried to hoist it up to shoulder height to carry it between the aisles. He realized a moment too late that the rotting cardboard had given way, and swung the box away from the stricken Mametchi and dropped it with a thud on the desk behind her.

Mametchis are lucky to have very flat noses — so flat that they're nearly invisible, in fact. But Oryza had gotten thunked just hard enough for a litte spot of blood to appear in the nostril of her little snout. Lying on her back on the floor in the aisle, she could do little more than blink in shock at her assault by flying textbooks.

Mr. Wand was nearly as stunned at what had suddenly transpired. "...I... need a volunteer to get the school nurse!" he bellowed. The class looked at each other in horror.

The first day of school AGAIN! Summer is not short enough said Lola. She was a typical tama. You know, the little apple type. She lived in V4 village. Lola had some friends from V3 village. They all went to the same school. They were: D-day the Tarakotchi, Ringo a Maskitchi and Dice the ninja. Lola's V3 friends raced up to her and they went inside.

There was Mimitchi, her usual snobby self [No offence] and Mametchi,Mimitchis personal slave. There was Ignigotchi,to short to reach his locker and Androichi trying to spell Tamagotchi without getting messed up.Yep,things were exactly the same.Or so she thought...

So we meet for lunch at 12:00? asked Lola. Uh-huh said Ringo. The 4 friends waved a goodbye and went to their homeroom.

When Lola walked in,she froze. All the Maskitchis were sitting together, all the Androitchis were together and so on. She looked for her type, then she remembered, "I'm the only little apple at this school!" She told the teacher and she said "you will just have to sit with the Mimitchis" NOOOOOO!!! screamed Lola.

I can't belive I'm sitting beside Mimitchi! said Lola on her way to lunch.

Did you guys here about the new seating arrangements? Asked D-Day. I love them said Ringo. Me too said Dice. Count me in said D-Day. NO WAY! said Lola. I have to sit with Mimitchi!

They walked back to Bandai High together then said goodbye.

Ahh! Home time at last said Lola. She and her friends were walking home together. I can't belive how much homework we have! Said Dice. I'll never be able to sit still that long! said D-Day! Its like "welcome back! Heres enough homework to make you forget you had a vacation!"

Heres V3 village said Lola, stopping at the gates. Bye said D-Day,Ringo and Dice.Bye,said Lola.

As Lola was inside her own village, she said "I like school but Mimitchi ruins it for me."

She got home, did her homework, ate dinner watched Tama News and went to bed.

Well... another typical first day of school for Lola.

                       Lola's Prayer
I'm an apple and I'm proud to be,
Even if Mimitchi ruins it for me,
I bless V4 village,
and V3 too,
And I pray for my brother Scott,he's brand new
And I hope that my math teacher gets the flu.

A loud thump startled Fang Yashashii out of her reverie.  She was supposed to be reading a passage in her science textbook, but had instead been thinking about what fun she could have if only she could jump out the window.  Then the jets on her feet would kick in, and she could spend Language ducking and weaving among the clouds.  But Hikotchis and other flying Tamagotchis were forbidden from turning their jets on high while on campus.

"That sounded like it came from the ceiling!" the teacher, a grumpy old Oyajitchi, said.  "What on earth could the seniors be doing?  Yasashii!" Fang jumped.  "Go tell them that we're trying to have class!"
"What?  Um...yes, sir!" Fang jumped out of her desk and let her jets set on low.  In seconds she was in the hall, heading towards the stairs.

When she reached the top, she immediately found herself lost.  As she pondered what door was the right one, she saw a Kusatchi skid out of a classroom down the hall.  He seemed in so much of a hurry that he didn't notice Fang until he smashed into her.
"Ow," she said.
"You okay?" he asked as he helped her to her feet.  "Sorry about that.  I'm kind of in a hurry.  This kid just got smacked in the head by a bunch of falling textbooks.  You probably wouldn't know her.  She's a senior, and you're a freshman, right?"
"You got it," Fang replied.

"What is this?" a high voice rang out.  It was a Ginjirotchi who had stepped out of the class that the Kusatchi had hailed from.  "Arjen!  Get to the nurse this instant!"

EDIT:  If I did anything wrong, would someone please tell me?

Arjen bid a quick goodbye to his new found friend Fang and quickly ran off to the Nurses office. Nurse Stipe the Otokitchi was Bandai High's eldest veteran, she had been treating bumps and bruises since the schools opening decades back.

"Please, Nurse Stipe, we've had an accident with some books, a student had a stack fall on top of her, Mr. Wand sent me to get you."

Nurse Stipe rised from her chair, so warm and comforting her office was, many times Arjen has been in here, always so clumsy he is. The two made their way back to the classroom where Oryza was treated and bandaged up by the Nurse. "Poor dear, you'll be alright. Take it easy now". Oryza was helped back to her desk. She slipped Oryza a small candy and gave a wink of her eye, turned and left the classroom.

Mr. Wand regained his composure, he can't tolerate the sight of blood all that much at all. "Ahm, erm. ah!. okay, you sure you're okay?" Oryza gave a small nod but still had the signs of tears, not a nice treat for early morning class to be hit with a barrage of books. "We'll hand out the books one by one this time, sorry Heyzen, I should have warned you about how heavy the box was."

Arjen sat back down at his desk. Not a good way to start the year... thankfully the class had lunchtime after next class, the rushing of the cafeteria, it's beginning of the year, the tables are all clean... the lunch ladies so chipper about the menu they have lined up.

The class sat attentively for the rest of the class without any more troubles, until they heard the beloved ringing telling them that the hour had passed. Onto next class!
