Okay, here's something I just dreamed up:

The Top 10 Places to Connect Your Tamagotchi!

1. The Highest Altitude Connection! Have you been to the top of a tall building and Connected your Tamagotchi? Have you Connected your Tamagotchi on a plane? I'm going to go to the top of the CN Tower sometime and connect mine.

2. The Lowest Altitude Connection! Anyone in New Orleans or near the Dead Sea? The closer to sea level, the higher your score!

3. The High-Speed Connection! Connecting in a moving vehicle. I guess you get double points if you connect on a plane. But a bullet train would be cool too! (No Connecting and Driving though, folks!)

4. The Furthest Distance Apart Connection. How far apart can you hold your Tamagotchis and still have them connect to each other? Creative use of lenses or mirrors get extra points!

5. Connecting In The Dark. Do you know your Tamagotchi so well that you can connect them without looking? Bonus points if they're not the same Version! Extra bonus points if one of them is a Japanese model!

6. The Multitasking Connection. Can you connect your Tamagotchi while chatting in the TSS chatroom, raising a Babytchi, keeping an Ocean alive AND saying the alphabet backwards? Be creative!

7. The Underwater Connection. ONLY TO BE ATTEMPTED WITH EXTREME CAUTION! Find watertight containers and connect your Tamagotchi while submerged!

8. Connecting Without Using Your Hands! Do you have sufficient toe/elbow/tongue/nose dexterity to push the buttons? Use of tools is acceptable.

9. The Most Connections in One Day Challenge! How many separate Tamagotchis can you meet and connect with in one day?

10. Connecting In Front Of The Most People! Do you dare Connect your Tamagotchis in the cafeteria? During your valedictorian speech? On YouTube?

Haha this is great =) I don't know if you wanted me to add to the list or comment so I'll try to do both ^.^ Forgive me if I ramble....

1. I've had far less experience with Connection then the originals. I can say I've played with many tamagotchi on planes, but no real high altitude experiences otherwise. Do the originals count? Does mesu/osu count?

2. Eh.. only in a basement. Not very low

3. Been there done that, but only in a car.

4. ooh.. now that's something to experiment with. That's something to be investigated someday. Connection has to be pretty close, probably only a few inches at most apart for me. ^.^

5. I wonder if that would work well with two glow-in-the-darks? I've connected mesu/osu in the dark. At my parents house my room was always completely dark as the window was covered and when I'd wake up late I'd play with them in the dark, along with digimons too. ^.^

6. Lol! I'm sure I have during multitasking, but without the alphabet part =) I used to connect my connections often while playing FFXI at the same time. Since I usually have music on, I was prolly singing too

7. I've connected mesu/osu while taking a bath, but they weren't submerged. I haven't taken a bath in a long while, I stick to showers mostly now. Oh yeah and a long time back I used to run out of the shower to connect my Digimons That's when I had that really old Greymon.

8. I'm sure I could use my feet, but I wouldn't want them to get dirty. I've never tried with my nose, that'd be fun though. Elbows would be a HUGE challenge with the tiny buttons. That'd work well with Suku since those buttons are easy to press.

9. I think my most was 4 or 5. Yeah I suck

10. Always... never afraid of the public eye looking at my Tamagotchi =) It's amazing how many adults will feel okay with being interested when they see another adult playing with one ^.^

11. Connecting in a Movie Theater! Have you connected your Tamagotchi in the theater? During a movie? With a friend? Extra bonus if it was with a stranger you met at the theater who noticed you had a connection too.

13. Connecting Around the World! Have you connected your Tamagotchi in more then one country? In several countries? While on a boat or plane traveling between countries?

14. Connecting During Dinner! Have you had your Tamagotchi Connect during a dinner out at a restaurant? Was it a fancy one? Did the waiter notice?

15. New Years Connection Celebration! Did you connect any Tamagotchi at new years? More then one pair? Did you name them special? (I guess this is more of a time rather then a place)

These are such awesome posts! Lets see if I can answer some of these questions! ^^

1. Well, the only people I ever connected my Tamas with were my two cousins who bought them the same time as me. We brought them with us everywhere but we never went anywhere big as such, hehe!

2. I'm the same as Kat here, only in the basement.

3. Yay I got this one! Me and Beth connected our Tamas the whole way home in the backseat (while my mom was driving on the highway) after we had just bought them! ^^

4. Yes! Got this one to! Me, Beth and Liam were at our grandparents and they have a lonnggg hallway up stairs. We were exactly 2 and a half meters apart and our little fellows connected

5. Eep! I'm not sure if we connected them in complete darkness,  but we did connect them in the car (like I said already) and it was dark out!

6. I've done this many times before. I hatched a P1 and  P2 at the same time back in November, wrote a log, chatted on the phone and cared for my two babitchi's while listening to music all at once! ^^

7. Never underwater..  But I have kept my Tamas on a little table in the batheroom when I take a shower (sometimes).. my poor little Mimitchi was demanding and I didn't want to pause him

8. Lol, never done this one! I should try it tho!

9. I connected 25 times in a row with Beth and Liam and then our batteries went dead ^.^ I haven't connected with anyone else tho.

10. I think we may have connected our Tamas one day at the mall while sitting on one of those benches.

11. I've never connected in a movie theater.. But I have brought my Tamas with me every time I go to the movies and one time I forgot to mute the sound and they all beeped in a quiet part of the movie, hehehe! It was soo funny!

14. I've had my Tamas with me many times when our family goes out for supper. I remember one night a few years back, Liam and I connected right across from one another at the restaurant table and both of our Tamas gave one another a poop each! heheh!

15. I don't think we ever connected during new years. This new years was my first time having a Tamagotchi with me and I didn't have any connections going. I did however keep my Tamas up late to ring in the new year with me this year!

This is a good one! Actually, when my friend Nicole first got into Tamagotchis, we went out for dinner to a nice restaurant and over Thai food we raised our Babytchis. I explained to her all the functions and stuff. I don't remember if we turned off the sound... that might have been annoying to the other restaurant patrons! But I know the waiter noticed. He gave us such a weird look.

We did a New Year's Hatch, didn't we? That's kind of like connecting...

This is pretty intense too. That's a lot!! of stuff at the same time, and they're all things that definitely take up brain capacity!

I'll just comment because I am so uncreative at times...

1. Never taken my Tamagotchi on an aeroplane before. Well at least not in the cabin. The dude at the check-in who looked like the sterotypical ICT specialist said I can't but I can in the luggage. So I blame him for my A button not working too well.

2. I live down the road from the Indian Ocean. But I wouldn't dream of taking my Tamagotchi to the beach.

3. I *think* I may have connected in a moving vehicle, but I'm not too sure.

4. For an experiment, I connected two Tamagotchi 1m apart.

5. Never wanted to go IN the dark, let alone CONNECT in the dark...

6. Never tried, never really wanted to...

7. I don't even take my Tamagotchi within one hundred miles of water... lol, exaggerating...

I got the overseas one, Jazzed Tam has been connected in Botswana, Zambia, Brasil, HK, SA, Australia, NZ and on a boat crossing the Date Line.

Alright I'm going to redo it for no good reason, probably because I might have connected in more places since...

1. The Highest Altitude Connection! Have you been to the top of a tall building and Connected your Tamagotchi? Have you Connected your Tamagotchi on a plane?

They wouldn't even let me take my Tamagotchi IN the cabin, let alone CONNECT them. Highest connection would have been my cousin's apartment which is only on the third floor. Unless I connected them at my aunt's apartment which is on the eighth floor.

No, wait. I've been to my friend's house in the hills (which are maybe a kilometre above ground).

I live down the road from the beach but haven't actually taken my Tamagotchi to the beach for obvious reasons. No, wait, I took a broken one to the beach but that doesn't count.

I'm pretty sure I have connected in a car going down a road at 120 km/h. If not, maybe in a car going down the freeway at 100 km/h.

Once I was testing my neighbour's v1 and my v1 and they connected about a metre apart. Well I think they could connect further but that's far too unreliable to write that down.

5. Connecting In The Dark. Do you know your Tamagotchi so well that you can connect them without looking? Bonus points if they're not the same Version! Extra bonus points if one of them is a Japanese model!

Hm, when was the last time I actually went in the dark? I don't think I have connected in the dark.

Well the biggest multitasking thing I've done Tamagotchi-related would probably be playing Get the Notes on my v3 and disciplining my v1 simultaneously. Which of course isn't connection related. I suppose I can stretch my legs out and lean forward and connect at the same time if that really counts.

Nope. Never. No way would I risk losing my Tamagotchi on 97th Generation with a baby.

Wait, I've gotten an idea. If I pour water on the roof of our house and then connect in the house, I would be under water, wouldn't I?!?

I'm sure I could do that but I'm scared that if I use my elbow or something I'll break my Tamagotchi. Plus on my v1 the A button doesn't work that well.

I think the first time I took my Tamagotchi to school the hype was quite big and I connected with like 35 people in my school. Alright I might be exaggerating, but I remember the list being at least halfway full and my sister saying, "Wait 'till she takes it to dancing!"

I've probably connected my Tamagotchi at school though not in front of too many people. The thing is I barely ever go in front of anyone lol.

Wait, I connected at a special class and there were like 10 people in the room and the teacher saw but he didn't care 'cause he used to have a Tamagotchi too!

Nope, if I do go to the movies (VERY rarely) I pause my Tamagotchi or put them to sleep.

I might have, two years ago at a dancing concert. Do I get bonus points because I was backstage supposed to be getting ready?

Yes, I've connected my Tamagotchi in two countries: Australia and Singapore. And I wasn't even allowed to take my Tamagotchi on the plane just because you can't turn them off.

And I went on the plane and I looked at the safety card in the seat back pocket. There were pictures of things you weren't allowed to have on during take off and landing and things you weren't even supposed to have in the first place. A Tamagotchi (well, a fake Tamagotchi- it had four buttons) was in the "things you weren't even supposed to have in the first place" section.
