Avatar Rules

1. Choose something that you want to represent yourself with, be it a cartoon character or tama character or your favorite ice cream - whatever you wish to represent yourself with.

2. Keep the image within the image specifications: 130 x 130.

3. Do not use advertisement imagery. This includes ads for websites.

4. Do NOT use images that would be offensive to anyone. No bad language, sexual imagery, whatever… It must be Rated G here.

5. Don't use flashing imagery that would annoy people.

6. Use common sense - if you wouldn't show your mother, don't post it here.

7. At this time, you may use images from my site on this board for avatars. I will assess the kind of bandwidth that accompanies this usage and this option may or may not be acceptable in the future if it pushes my bandwidth up too far. However I'd rather you use something more original^^

Questions and Answers about Avatars:

-Have an image you'd like to use but don't know where to host it?
Finding a free webhost and hosting the file there would work very well. Look up "free image hosting" or "free file hosting" or "free webhosting" or something of that nature in Google and you'll likely find something. I'm sure members of the community here will have some good suggestions as well. I've always paid for my hosting so I haven't a clue.

Go to profiles to specify your avatar.

-When will I activate uploading?
It depends on the kind of bandwidth this uses, but a trail run may be activated in the future.

-Someone is using an offensive avatar, what should I do?
Write a PM to an Administrator and we will take care of it.

-I have some suggestions or questions about the board or the rules, where do I post?
