It's a miracle. I wrote my first Connection log after 2 years. It's mostly a catching up log, but it's also for my Tama and covers mostly yesterday.

I'll cover today and tomorrow in one log because that one log was way to long as is.

Wow, Im at a loss for words. I had no idea how bad those few years were, but it's never fun to dwell on times like that so I'll just end it with this, Im glad you're better now.
Glad you're doing logs again, good luck and have fun with Jarre! Smiley

Life can throw you for a spin some times....but in retrospect it looks like it was for the better.  Wink

**GASP** !! I KNEW "Jarre" was from the Death Gate Cycle! But I was like, "Nooo, I must be like the only person who ever read those (aside from the two friends I got hooked on it), and Jarre is an obscure character... it must just be a coincidence."

I LOVE those books. I was fanatical about them when I first read them when I was in grade six/seven. I would carry them around with me wherever I went. Even though I've read them so many times, they are in great shape because I treasure them so much. In fact, my boyfriend and I read to each other, and he's been reading me the Harry Potter books, and I've been reading him the Death Gate Cycle!

Someone needs to write a psych thesis paper: "Tamagotchis, Star Trek and the Death Gate Cycle: Deciphering Patterns in the Vpet Lover's Mind".

Fry: Thank you. I agree, I'm glad I'm better now too Smiley Happy to leave that behind Smiley Jarre is doing great, having lotsa fun with my new little buddy. I'm writing another log for today right now ^^

Tamaboi: Well in a way it was, Brendan and I have never been happier really. I don't like being so far from his family, they are wonderful wonderful people. I miss them more then I ever missed mine (which was a whole other issue in 2004-05). I don't regret being out of that job, it really tore me apart, I'm glad I have time to breath now and time to be here Smiley

Elana: omg.... Smiley Someone else who knows my passion and love for that series. Brendan read and loved those books a long time ago and he kept them. Well I had never really been exposed to much fantasy reading growing up, so he told me these were his favorites and to give them a try. I just got done reading all seven about three weeks ago. I fell in love with all those characters, that world touched me so much, it's been hard to even pick up another book since then. I couldn't even express how touched I was after finishing them - I don't think I'll ever read anything as deep, well written or wonderful again lol.. I've never before read a novel and at the end sympathized all characters - good and bad - and loved each and every one of them and for all different reasons Smiley

I totally loved Limbeck, adored him from the start so it was an easy decision when I decided on a name for my first girl Tama Smiley

I think it's awesome you and your boyfriend read to each other! I so would love to do that with Brendan someday Smiley

And I totally LOL'd when i read your psych paper idea, that's soo funny  Grin

Bojko: Thank you Smiley We got married at the courthouse back in California. We wanted to do something big, but after looking at costs and considering our job situation, in the end we went small, but it turned out to be really nice. They performed the ceremony in a small and well decorated room. Brendan's parents came with us. The ceremony was touching and sweet and in the end I don't regret it at all.

From that moment on, everything sort of kept getting better Smiley

turtleman534: Smiley thank you, I'm happy to be back in the Tama community again too. I have much catching up to do! So much has happened, I don't feel too much like the Tamagotchi Queen anymore, because I'm sooo behind Smiley

And yeah that log was huuugggggeee. But I figured after all these years of letting the site get stale.. that I owed some sort of explanation for my disappearance. I didn't want to make it too long, but it did end up to be pretty long. Most of them shouldn't be that way Cheesy But there will be more... like tonight, yes gotta do one before bed, my little Jarre is coming along real nicely and I have much to tell Smiley

I'm not embarrassed to admit that my first ever pubescent crush was on Haplo. What a dreamboat!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Smiley Haplo was amazing, I can easily understand that crush.

I got so attached to so many characters.  Even Hugh the Hand, whom I wasn't so fond of in the beginning, as his story was explained more I found myself in tears for him many times. Limbeck got me from the start, I was sad when he changed his focus later on and it was nice when he went back to being himself toward the end. I so wanted to just hug him so often, he was just too adorable Cheesy
