http://www.namcobandaigames.com/games/tamagotchipartyon/

It will be realeased in May for the USA market, I hope it will make it to Europe as well. I hate the fact that Wii isn't region free like the DS.

Who here has a Wii??

Congratz on the Wii Kat... and the anniversary Grin

Me and my boyfriend bought a Wii for Christmas (it was our Christmas present for each other) but there aren't really that meny games out yet. I'm waiting for Mario Galaxy, Mario Party and hopefully Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing.

You know there is a strap on the wiimote that keeps you from smashing your tv with it Smiley Good luck on talking your mom into letting you buy one Smiley

Most of the accidents leading to TV/window/mirror crashes when playing Wii were caused of the piece that connects the wrist starp to the Wiimote breaking.

This "Wii playing destroys your home" shouting in news has made it's job. Parents don't let kids have Wii cause "the playing might destroy our room decorations".

Honestly...

And most of the accidents were result of 24-48 hours of maniac Wii playing in the first days when the machine was released. Sweaty hands + tireness isn't good combination with Wiimote.
When you play "normally" (not a 24h marathon) and you are not tired you practically can't end up with accidentaly throwing the controller out of the window.

Honestly...

Your right Kokuma... but they changed the straps since all of that happened. I haven't heard any storys of the new ones breaking.

I also think that lots of the storys about flying wiimotes are altered. I've seen pictures of broken straps and some of them look like they were cut not torn. I think a lot of people find it easy to blame Nintendo for a stupid mistake they made themselves by not using the wriststrap. Personally I have never dropped my wiimotes, but if I would the strap would take the fall since I don't use that great a force.

Wii is good choice. Much cheaper than Xbox360 or PlayStation 3, the motion based controlling encourages to move your body when you play instead of laying between sofa pillows and the games cost less than Xbox360/PS3 games. And there is mostly car racing/war games for Xbox360 and PS3 so Wii is better choice for family with kids. Many level-jumping games and puzzles and adventure games to choose from.
