Yeah, it would have definitely been better if they had taken the laptop, gameboy, and the graphing calculator and left all the other stuff.

At least they didn't steal the car. I have no idea where I'd be now if that had happened. They did damage it, but not much. They seemed to have somehow bent the lock mechanism in the passenger door, and it won't lock anymore, but thats it.

And yes, I believe it has been proven many times that life is not fair to the least extent. I can only imagine what its like to go home and find your house burned down.. Or that someone has ransacked it.  Lips Sealed

I appreciate the concern, and I'm sorry to hear about your truck. I suppose I'm probably semi-lucky to have had this happen once in my lifetime. Then again, I'm only 13..

My bit of advice: if you ever end up living in an apartment, try and get uncovered parking, away from walls. Getting broken into's awful, sorry you had to go through it :/

The first time I was broken into, they broke the front, passenger side door lock. It was three years ago, and I still haven't replaced it, even though it's completely non-functional. I just couldn't justify it. I mean, if a working lock is meant to keep the bad people out, and it didn't work, why should I pay to repair it?

Meh, guess the second theif wasn't much for locks, they just smashed the rear window ><

They smashed the window when the lock didn't work? Gosh you'd think they would have at least tried the doors before doing that.

And meanwhile, I'm going to try and find a loophole in your logic.. Heheh, It seems to make perfect sense to me that if a lock didn't work, why replace it?

Actually the lock from the outside cannot be opened with a key, as the lock (the metal round thingy) where the key fits in fell intirely into the door. This done by the ppl that broke in the first time. So what happens is the lock works, but the door is either locked or unlocked and only from the inside. It is not possible to unlock or lock the door from the outside of the truck.

So now unless someone finds some other crafty way to get in, they can't via that door Wink

Hey Gigiff! How old are you?  I'm 15, and I am also interested in animating, but I've always just done claymation.  I have the flash program, but I cannot figure out how to use it for the life of me.  I am really interested in learning though, so do you think you could tell me the basics or something?  And I'm also interested in looking at your animations, since you said they're on an art website. Grin

Wow I'm really nosy.. Undecided
