I have a sister named Ashely, and she debugged her v3 and it shut down. Every time it hits something it goes beep and a egg appers on the screen. Thanks for the tips!

That's weird. That has never happened to me before. I suggest your sister shouldn't try to debug it.

It's already too late. She debugged it. I guess this is the result of a bad debug. I don't think people should even debug in the first place.

I have a few questions. When you see the egg, what happens when you press 'B'? Do you see the Reset/Download function? What happens? What do you mean by 'everytime it hits something'?

Well.... I'm generally against de-bugging (after having a bad experience with one stuck on permanent hyperspeed) and generally my advice would be DO NOT DEBUG (ESPECIALLY V4s!) but, since this is after the fact, some suggestions are:

Go back in and use a cutip to clean the debugged spot again. It might be partially debugged enough to cause small glitches like that. Don't judge the spot by appearence, because although it may look like you cleaned it off all the way, try again!

(If you're talking about the Tamagotchi literally hitting something, like a wall or the floor) Buy or make a pouch so that if the Tamagotchi gets dropped, bumped, etc. there's a good chance that the material of the pouch will soften the blow enough that it won't reset. If it does, just download.

(If you're talking about when your sister presses the buttons) If she's pressing them down really hard and it resets, experiment with different ways to press the buttons (press them gently, press them with something besides your fingers etc.). Otherwise, try pressing the reset button, then downloading. It's possible this glitch could be fixed (although not too likely).

Inspect the back of the Tamagotchi. If the reset button is missing, this is could be the cause. If not, are all the screws and the batteries in right? Try taking out the battery, and putting it in again, then downloading and tighten the inside screws.

That's all I can think of. Sorry if they're not helpful or don't work.
