Nope, can't say I did. If there was a way to get my three minutes back, I'd do it, but instead I'll consider my time a donation to protect the time of other members of the board.

The video is completely without redeemable merit. While there's nothing offensive per se, just the fact that it was created, and then launched to steal other people's time is enough to warrant a response like this.

I have to be careful, because if I make it seem like this video's terrible, then more people will want to go see it. The train-wreck effect is just too strong sometimes. Let me just clarify by this: There is nothing in this video that is something you haven't seen before, except for maybe a minute and a half of credits for 61 seconds worth of content.

Watch it if you please, but just understand that it doesn't get better than your first impression.

I'm very sorry if I wasted your time. You know if you didn't want to watch it you didn't have to.

There's no need for an apology, you asked for opinions on the video, and I gave you mine. Nor did I say I didn't want to watch it, quite the contrary. I like watching videos posted on this forum, most of them are entertaining. This one wasn't.

Can I have your opinion on this too?

Should I ever post videos here again?

Of course you can! Some people might like it, some people won't.

It all depends on your taste. Don't be discouraged.

You can always learn from your mistakes and make better ones.

I'm not going to ask that you don't, but there's something you need to understand: if you put something forth for comments, you can't expect everyone to think it's spectacular. My taste in videos is different than yours. All that means is that if someone on this board happens to share my taste in videos, then my opinion may influence their choice in whether or not they view it. If someone has exactly the opposite taste in videos, then their choice will be influenced in the opposite way and they'll rush to youtube and view it immediately.

Had this been a video you created, and you asked for constructive criticism, I would have been happy to help you out as I have some professional experience in video production. But, it isn't something you made, so my opinion is based entirely on its entertainment value.

My opinion doesn't have any more weight than yours, so post away. I'd only ask you to stop if what you posted violated one of the forum guidelines.

If you wish to continue this line of conversation, please send me a private message, as this thread has been derailed from its intended subject.
