I was shocked! @_@

I've personally never experienced this, I remember reading it somewhere that if you don't give your Morino enough weight, sometimes it will change back.

The first time I played I didnt' know about the weight situation, so I always made it go back to 10. It turned into Funkarogatchi. So, I'm actually not sure though, why it does that.

That theory sounds good. The morino is strange in that the lowest weight is unhealthy and the highest weight is the healthiest. It could have been just what Without said.

in my opinion Morino really unique
I dont think you can get the best character with the highest weight though
because I usually get a Koganetchi at the weight 40, and get a Mushibatchi at the weight 60++
so every character has a certain weight...

This happened to KM. I think that when the Morino is unsure what to do with the status it has, or it doesn't coincide with any specific character, it comes out as an Imocchi again and be cared for a bit longer, and then become a chrysalis and become something else.

But ten of course, I don't have a MoriNo (and my caterpillars have never turned into cocoons and then come out as caterpillars, hehehe).

Your theory sounds correct though, as does mine. But I don't think it doesn't know what to do, it just needs more caring to make a finalization.

I miss my Morino.. I still haven't gotten Tentochi and Koganetchi! But I don't know whats wrong with it.. *check my other topic if you think yo know*
