I'm in Canada, and at least in my area, V4's have not really made an appearance... so I have turned to Ebay of course!

I really love my Uratama, but I'd like to have an english tam as well so I can actually understand what the heck Im doing, LOL!

So I am getting an Hong Kong V4. There is something about the US tams that really don't appeal to me. The foriegn ones have better colours and designs in my opinion!

Is anyone else running a Hong Kong. V4? Any differences between that and the N.A. ones?

Haha, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the Asian releases have way better colours/designs than the North American ones. I got a Hong Kong V4 from ebay too and I'm pretty sure it's the same as the US V4's, though I don't actually have a US one. I'm just assuming since the manual is the exact same as the US one (except for Chinese on the other side) and it also even uses the same site as the US V4's.
Btw.. I'm thinking of getting a Uratama. What features does it have that the V4's don't? And it won't take too much away from it if I don't know Japanese, right?

The uratama is the main basis for the upcoming V4.5 that will be coming out later this year. I own 3. I suggest if you aren't too keen on the japanese like I was, get a japanese character guide to help you at least name your little guys Smiley

The main differences between uratama and V4 (besides possible language differences) are the following:

-Uratama's blue pixels & option to lighten/darken pixels
-You play mini job games with your V4, and on uratama you get a job and you get your pay but no mini game
-star shaped antenna instead of V4's & Entama's sphere shaped antenna

You can lighten/darken pixels on the Uratama Huh? How do you do that?

(Sorry, a bit off topic).

Go to the time screen. I haven't used my uras in a while but I believe you hold down the A button and press the B button. It should take you to a screen where it has a bar on it. Use the A and B button to determine how light or dark the screen you want then I think you press the C button to go back to time.
