This reminds of me of many years ago when Toys R Us did a Golden Tamagotchi thingy. You HAD to preorder and they claimed to only have a very limited amount and you had to be lucky enough to get a ticket in to get one. They insisted there'd be no other way to get one there after.
Well I didn't have the money at the time (they were charging like double a regular Tama price) so I didn't buy one. About two months later they had TONS on their shelves for regular price! I was all shocked!
That was just too funny.
I bought like two of them... laughed my whole way to the purchase counter.
So now I'm sorta awaiting and wondering... if Golden Connection will find itself as a regular release in the stores some day
