Well see here is the problem.....

I got my email.....and you have 7 days to fax back a form that you have to fill out.  If you do not you forfit the prize..  If I did not work at a place with a fax machine I doubt I could have gotten mine off.  So i bet there are alot of kids that did not get it filled out and sent off.  That is all to sad......so that will make them even more rare I suppose.......Any one want to buy mine for 1,000,000,000.00?  HAHAAH

Still, I checked my email every day. And I find it suspicious that they have to have the kids (as the supposed age of those entering the contests would be considered children) fax forms. It just seems rather odd that they did that.

Kids don't have fax machines. It just seems...odd...

Well I contacted Bandai's marketing firm, the one that emails me now and again with news, and asked them about the inconsistency of names and asked why there aren't 300 listed and this was the reply:

--------------------------
Hi Kat,

Thanks for your inquiry...All 300 Golden Tamagotchi were, in fact, won
during Golden Month.  From what we understand, Bandai will change the
posted list of winners every week (probably at the end of every week) on
the Web site.  So, there should be a different list of winners up every
week.  Although not all 300 winners are listed on the site at once, each
of them will be sent e-mails to notify them that they have won.  I hope
that this helps.  Please feel free to let me know if you have other
questions.  Thanks.

Best,
~Joyce

Well, I figured that you would have inquired into the matter, Kat. Thank you for getting us the information needed to understand the problem.

I ain't got Golden Tamagotchi, but does Silvers count? Hehe. Cheesy

Bought one silver/black Connexion V2 from seconhand shop yesterday with price 5€ (new ones cost 16-18€). The screen's little bit scrathched, there are couple of tiny scratches in the cover paint and the keychain chain is missing, but at least it works normally after I put new CR2032 inside and the screen is full functional.

I don't usually spend my time in secondhand shops and yardsale-style bazaars but I was lucky yesterday to find propably only Tama in whole place and I was like; "Whee, a silver Tama! That I want"

From the Virtual Pets link on yahoogroups, the member Angie sent this along:

-----------------
Winners are being notified and their verifications being received as
they send them in so we cannot post the winners names until they do
confirm their information with us and the website is updated by
Monday of each week.

Thank you,

That means that maybe not everyone is notified yet? Smiley
