I've been pretty burnt out on Tama Planet lately. I'll be getting back to my Tama projects very soon. I just tend to take on too much at once and overwhelm myself.

I currently have finalized planning for the Connection site to add version information and to update the content already present - some of the content is already written. I also have new images to post in the My Collection images section (including pictures of the Tama's Elana sent). Some navigation changes on the homepage are in the works too. I have more Rated Tama links things to add. I have lots more information to add to the TamaSuku site. I also have plans in the works to re-org the site in general.

I know people keep asking and poking me about things and I appreciate the support and the encouragement. Just sometimes I need to step away from it because it's overwhelming for me as an individual to handle everything at once - so much to do and so little time.

I've stepped away from Tama Planet and I'm working on a small new section to mimitchi.com about my culinary career in FFXI. It's in the works and expected to be out in a week or two already. Then I'll be back into Tama Planet once again.

What does this all mean? I just means that everything is going as it has the past couple of weeks... that I know I'm behind and I just want y'all to know I'm not stepping away from things to never be heard from again. I still read and post on the boards.. so nothing much is changing, except my logs are silent for the time being - but not permanently. Smiley

Thanks for the understanding.

Thanks for the heads up.  Smiley  I understand all too well when real life circumstances press for attention elsewhere. And then there are other things we'd just simply like to do as well. Maybe you're like me in the aspect that you give your all when you do a project so something else has to give for a while in order to accomplish it.

Best to your section on culinary career in FFXI that you're working on.

Thanks snickerdoodles Smiley That's often how I am, I'm a perfectionist and often times when I'm finished with a big project I feel drained because I put myself so far into it. Sometimes I just need a mental shift onto different things before I come back to other projects. It also feels more fresh when I leave one project and go to a completely different one for a while and then return to the original.

I do like to focus on one thing at a time, if I don't it gets sorta muddy and then things don't get finished as efficiently or as completely as they should be. I'm a multi-tasker, but big projects need my full attention Smiley

The culinary guide is something I've been tossing around for a couple of months now. Since I'm probably in my last year of FF, I wanted to give something back to the FF community Smiley

I tend to ramble too much... thanks for listening and understanding

You're doing an excellent job on your site as a whole, and you deserve more than just a pat on the back. If I ever win the lottery, a golden mimitchi statue will be put in your honour somewhere where everybody can see. Haven't decided yet, could be maybe on my front lawn in my giant Rubix cube I'm going to be living in then  Grin

At any rate, take it easy and keep up the excellent work when you can.
