I did buy a 10 pack of the connection batteries some time ago and they were really cheap. I should do that again since they are really expensive in stores here, and not every store sells them, only hardwarestores and gasstations.

The names of my tamas are all names of my students, and we have a pretty unique naming system in Iceland. People can't just name their kids whatever they want like in the US. If the name people choose hasn't been used before or if it is foreign it has to be decided by a special commity if it's allowed or not. I think it's a good system, I know of a lot of ridiculus names that have been rejected.
I have to get me some girls soon, I'm running out of boy's names. There are only 7 boys in my class and 13 girls

That's a crazy naming system, but it sounds like a good idea. We should get that over here; maybe people won't be naming their kids Apple, Jet, and Reign Beau. Those are ridiculous.

Did I mention names like Fifi Trixibelle, Peaches Honeyblossom, and Little Pixie? Crazy celebrities

I just have to speak up and say that I LOVE bizarre names like that. Every single one of those weird names I think are totally awesome. I guess I was really meant to be a crazy celebrity. Okay, where's my money...??

I have a secret collection of weird names for my poor future children and I will not share them here in case Jennifer Lopez steals my ideas or something! Grin

Had a major childfest this morning. All my tamas had had babies the other day and the parents all left them last night. So the four I have going now are:
Dagur, means Day (V4) is a boy Puchitchi, such a cute little guy. Binna(V4)(which is actually short for Brynhildur) is a girl Puchitchi. Tanja(V3) is Tamatchi, a girl called Tanja and Krķa (white V3) is a girl Kuchitamatchi.. Then of course I have my newly hatched Nykur (v4.5) who is still a babygirl, her name is from an old Icelandic folklore, because of the Halloween hatch. It's actually a guy's name but I thought for the sake of Halloween she can have that name either way.
I have a lot of names for girls so I had a hard time choosing, so I chose the names of the girls that I feel are closest to me.

My friend finally put the pics she took in the Halloween party online, so here's a pic of me and Hrafn in our costumes. He's Arthur Dent from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and I'm a fairy (very inappropriately holding a beer)

Happy Halloween!!!

Lol a fairy with beer! Revolution ;O
Looking foxy, aren't we(well, you). ;]

You're taking care of 4 babies at the same time?
Omg woman! You've nerves of steel! I'd go mental. o_o
I like the names by the way, especially Nykur, which, in Swedish, means New Medicine/Treatment. Lol.

Happy Halloween to you, too.

Awesome log!
