A conch in her nose?! The things kids stick in the weirdest places. Actually, I remember getting a thumbtack up mine XD

And yes, those are PEZ dispensers. At least, from what I remember, they are =p

I'm the worst tamacaretaker in the world. I'm just waiting for social services to knock on my door. I left my tamas at work on Thursday and I didn't have a key to the place so I couldn't go back for them when I realized I had left them there. On Friday morning I checkedd on them and I was so glad to see that 3 of them had been on pause, as they were babies, and the others were doing fine, some had piles of poops but nothing serious. Except for my morino, he had been trampled to death, poor guy.

Wendy and Slink had baby boys together and I started a new name theme, "Kids from work". So their names are Ísar and Úlfur. I like both names very much, they are both very strong and have character. Ísar comes from the root ís which means ice in Icelandic and Úlfur literally means wolf.
Úlfur is a Nikatchi and Ísar is Yong Androtchi.

Tinkerbell became Otokitchi yesterday and now I'm just waiting for Ham to become Ojitchi so they can mate.

I just bought My Sims for my Wii and I'm hooked. I just love this game!

I would really love to hear a review of this game! My parents just got a Wii and I've been looking at games to get. I think a review of My Sims would be very relevant for TSS because I think it's kind of another type of life simulation, right? I hope you post your opinions of this game from a vpet collector's perspective!

Elana: maybe I will do that when I find the time.

Ham finally became Ojitchi and I immediately hooked him up with Tinkerbell. They did their thing and had 2 baby boys who became Oyajitchi right after being babies, no teenage stage here.

Went to this Halloween birthday party yesterday. I went as a fairy and Raven (my bf) went as Arthur Dent form Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I went all the way with it, I wore a green flowery dress, green leggings, green shoes, had wings on my back. I got a friend to paint my face with glitter and a hairdresser friend of mine to do my hair. I've got to say that the outcome was really cool, I actually won the best costume prize with 10 votes (my runner up got 2 votes).

I remember being Titania for our play in school "A Midsummer Night's Dream." My mama made me a dress and my wings for it. I was green too! Congrats on winning the costume contest! I've never won anything like that.... always wanted to though.

Whew, I've been having a very bad case of the Mondays.
I woke up this (dark and gloomy) morning very tired most likely because I couldn't sleep last night because I fell asleep for an hour over the TV around 7 PM. The winter is finally upon us here in Iceland, with all it's pouring rain and heavy wind, when you combine the two you get horizontal rain which pretty much is a standard issued rain here. I actually first saw absolutely vertical rain when I was 13 years old and I was on holiday in the Netherlands. The rain today was extra wet and the wind was extra strong, my workplace is a very old house and it needs a few repairs, the windows aren't sealed very well so the rain spurted through the closed windows.

In my coffeebrake this morning I was feeding and playing with my tamas and when I picked up my tamasuku to check on the stats it gave a low beeb and the screen went blank. I hadn't even pushed any of the buttons yet, it just died in my hand like it was waiting for me so it could go. I can only hope it's the battery, I don't have any spares so I'll have to wait to find out.

A coworker of mine that always closes up at the end of the day is on vacation (in Florida, the lucky *Mametchi*) so I had to close up today. It took goddamn 45 minutes to do so, just because of this meeting the preschool director had with a couple of parents (they're on a kind of a parents commity) so I had to wait until they were finished because their children were still there. I had parked my car in the next street and I was so wet when I got there I had to change my clothes when I got home.

When I got home I went to check on my tamas I saw that my uratama needs a batterychange and as I said before I don't have any so it'll have to wait.
I was going to play my Wii when I got home but the Wii demanded a batterychange in the Wiiremote and I don't have any of those either so I couldn't play! What's the deal with this day and batteries?? I think there's something in the air that's sucking the energy out of both me and all the batteries. So I decided to crawl into bed and take a nap, listening to the wind and the rain outside.

Well, here are my stats... been a while since I posted those:
V4 Green camouflage: Gozarutchi, a 5 year old boy called Ísar. Has 5 training points, Gen 8.
V4 Blue with Sunflowers: Oyajitchi, a 1 year old boy called Ragnar. Has 1 training point, Gen 7.
V3 Seethrough Black: Tarakotchi, a 5 year old boy called Úlfur. Has 7 training points, Gen 7.
V3 White with a Rainbow: Oyajitchi, a 1 year old boy called Bjarki. Has 1 training point, Gen 5.
Entama, Coffebrown: Androtchi, a 15 year old boy called nothing, Gen 1.

Wow, when I started this log again a couple of days a go I had 8 tamas running, now I just have 5.

I've the same problems. And what's worse: this little community of mine, where I'm living, doesn't sell the connection type of batteries. >_<
So you're not alone. Tongue

I hope you'll have better luck then me.

eBay actually has some sellers here or there that will sell the huge packs of about 25 tama batteries for a fairly cheap price... probably about $15 USD or so. I'm not positive on that amount, but I once used them to get 50 of the old tama batteries for $10. Good batteries too.

I love the names you use for your tamas... you said that they were the names of your students, right?
