It's so quiet on the boards today  Sad

What's everyone up to?

Today monkey and me are going to RadCon - it's a sci-fi convention Smiley

Mainly wondering where everyone is and just got back from shopping.  I found another purse today and I also picked up some strong needles today to do some mending.  I am however proud to say I did not come home with those cute llil sandals I saw yet....
Getting anxious for spring here I am so tired of shoveling snow.

Yeah I wonder where people are too. Seems oddily empty for a saturday.

Someday you should get just those sandles, it's good to treat yourself now and again to something you really want Smiley

RadCon is terribly disappointing. We will go back later for a couple of events, otherwise... meh. So much smaller then we expected. We attended an event on Publishing books online this morning and only 1 of the 4 scheduled speakers showed up. I felt so sorry for the guy, after 12 minutes he said that was his segent, he wasn't prepaired to run the whole hour. He did really well though. Maybe the stuff we see later will be better..

I was at work all day - like I am every Saturday.

Sorry to hear about RadCon. Is it in your town, or did you have to travel far to get to it? I hope it gets more exciting.

I might go out clubbing with my friends tonight, but I'm a little wiped out from work. I'll see if I perk up again after dinner.

Today is my last day of my 3...4 ... (oh gosh, I can't even remember)... months holiday.

So, in that, I'll be relaxing and thinking about what this Semester will bring. Getting my books organized. I am also attending a BBQ tonight, free food.

Elana: It took place 10 minutes away from us. We are a small cluster of towns so it was just across the bridge. The evening went a little better, but.. the event for book publishing we went to on Small Press was sorta.. bleh. They could have just passed out a list of URLs because it was constant referal to the phrase "that's on our website, you can read it there" and that sort. So that part was again a disappointment.

However we watched the costume contest and that was a whole lotta fun, it was the absolute best part of the whole event. There's so many creative people out there, I was quite impressed. We won't be going next year unless they have more to offer. We didn't even bother checking out todays events.

Kokuma: You are too funny =)

TL: Cool, glad you had time with Jon a bit again. Smiley

Edit: typo.. meant to be TL not TAL >.>

I was competing in a figure skating competition.  I considered going down to the computer in the lobby and posting on here, but two things stood in my way:

a.  I didn't really have enough time.
b.  I'd probably end up being there for hours and, see (a)
