A couple of questions please.

When the parent leaves...

1. What happens to the points that the parents made? Are they passed on to the child?

2. Are all the tamatown (V3) prizes and password items deleted and then you have to collect them again?

Gotchi points pass to the baby (at least in V3) but most of the souvenirs need to be collected again in every generation. Some souvenirs stay in the list, but can't remember now which ones.

What about items collected from tamatown?

The items will generally stay until you break them, in my experience.

I haven't been to Tamatown since Ramen was born, and the souvegniers I still have are:
  • passport
  • map
  • textbook
  • computer
  • palm tree (Hawaiian souvegnier)
  • Golden Tamagotchi
  • Rare CD
  • all three movie posters
  • BANDAI medal
  • suitcase
  • trophy

break them? Is that possible?  Undecided

Now see, I haven't even gotten to the souvenier thingies. I shall endeavor to do better now that I've learned so much through trial and error with these first children.  Sad

Thanks

additional question:

And what about points the parents give to the King. Are they forfeited when the parent leaves and the child starts from a clean slate?

No I do believe that the donations are still there as well, but someone else may want to confirm this as usually by then my Tama's are well to do.

Well, I'm pretty sure you read in my logs that my radio blew up... Grin  So yes it is possible.

I've bought Boombox (= portable music player) 3 times from Tamatown and every time it has blow up when I've tried to use it. Not going to buy that anymore...

Did it blow up on the first try?  That's what happened to me the first time, but now I've got a new one that hasn't blown up.
