I think the Oyajitchi being female is pretty awesome. Also awesome is that it isn't very Americanised.

Kokuma, where was this Uradebatchi being listed as a bird and all that? I know BanDai has messed up their Characters page more than once (i.e., listing the Patapatatchi as a Hinotamatchi).

I've never really liked the characters being limited to one gender... I always thought of them more as a species than a single character.

Also, question: I've heard that the mail icon replaces the light icon in this version? Then how do you turn the lights off?

(three times awesome: I won't have to use a USB microphone! =D)

The V4 has the same thing. The lights go out on their own like the entama/uratama at a certain time. I ordered my V4.5, black with flames and I can't wait to try mine out after reading all the interesting stuff Cheesy

Cool Smiley I think in a couple days my V4.5 will be seeing the matchmaker so I'll be almost on generation 2!

Man, this news is going to make the months go by that much slower....but atleast Ill have something to anticipate!

Until I read this article, I didnt know that a tamagotchi had come out for mobile phones....but  of course, as soon as I found out I went and downloaded it. Does anyone else have this? Its actually a pretty neat little program, thats basically the exact same as the original tamas from 97...except that now you have to option to make them have better animation and they're in color!

I agree with Kat, that Bandai needs to do something new with the Tama series soon. Ive been thinking about this for years; with todays technology, whats stopping Bandai from making a tama with better graphics/color animations!? I mean, Nintendo made their "Pokemon Pikachu 2" in color YEARS ago...isnt it about time for some updated little tamas to look at?

I'm extremely interested in this. I've never heard of it before. Where can I get it, if it works on verizon too?

I really don't think they should go all the way into colored tamagotchis. I like them how they are. I think the extra boost of color could be too much. I don't think I'd get one for that reason alone.

Also, colour LCDs would take much more battery life than a simple black&white one. A Tamagotchi is on all the time, too, and you don't want to keep running out of one CR2032.
