I used to be into Star Trek a lot when TNG was still running new seasons. I'm not so much into it anymore, but the re-runs are still great to watch. I even occasionally went to a convention.

Picard is my favorite, to me he had the most charisma of all the captains.

I'd be more interested in a poll asking, which post-Roddenberry captain irritated you the most? I drew the line at Janeway, she officially made me barf and never watch Star Trek again.

At least there was Tom and Belahnah for that show.  I agree though Janeway was not so great.  The new one though is far worse though.  I could still watch Janeway.  I stopped after Jonathan Archer, even though I loved him in Quantum Leap.

Was there really a character in DS9 named Benjamin Sisko?

"sisko" means sister in finnish

Yes there was.  Though for some reason I thought it was Cisco.  Anyways.  That one ran more like a Soap Opera as they stayed in the same place and trouble found them instead of them finding trouble.  My hubby didn't like it at first, but after some time he liked it and the depth is still there.

For me, it's a cross between James T. Kirk  and Jean Luc Picard.

When the first ones came out, I had a mad crush on Kirk. He was a serious babe in his youth. But Jean Luc is intellectual and classy. That's probably more attractive to me now.

Yeah but Capt. Kirk had no standards. He slept with anything and everything that had at least one oraface.  Jean Luc on the other hand has high standards and can usually keep his composure (Kids being his weakness as he has no clue how to deal with them but proves in the one episode he would still make a good dad ( the episode where he learns the flute, is married and teaches his daughter all about astrology )).

Kokuma: Toooooo funny. He was a sissy at times >.>

I liked the Ferengi on DS9.. they are hilerious but the only part of that show I enjoyed.

Crystyl: Hehe! True true, but.. he was generally a very good captain and provided some pretty funny moments on the show. I enjoyed his interaction with Spock a lot
