Cute little animation

There was lots of talk about groundhog day down around here today, hehe.
That is why I like fall the most. It's not to warm and not to cold, just right

. Anyways, hopefully it will warm up a little.
Thanks, I like Spring and early Fall. Mostly because it's still nice enough to wear Flip Flops with jeans.

ginjirotchi: It is FREEZING down here in Newfoundland.
crystyl: Wow another Canadiian huh? I am in the Saskatchewan area.
Very cool

Canada is fantastic in the Fall. I was born in upstate NY and traveled over the border to visit a few times with my family.

Here in Finland we have this saying around Winter Solstice day that (hibernating) bear turns a side and winter is half through.
I could see where that would almost make sense.

I wonder if I could use that when my husband turns over. (
We call him 'The Bear')

Sorry i've been quiet - Brendan is sick again (so rare) and it might have been food poisoning or the return of the flu, we don't know. So i've been taking care of him and not around here much.

Get well soon Brendan. My husband has had a touch of a stomach virus. Maybe there's something going round.
Weather Here:
There's a two hour delay for school today. I think they're more concerned about black ice more than snow. Yesterday (Thursday) I was very chilly and I had to wear a heavy coat when out for errands. Tuesday I got caught in a snow storm coming out of the Mall.

Summer photos of a GroundHog. We also call them 'Woodchucks' or Woodlychucks, as my daughter is so well known for saying.

Why did the groundhog cross the road?

I don't know but he/she made it safely.

We play a groundhog/woodchuck game whenever we go on base to the pool. Whenever we see one we yell out '
WoodlyChuck!' and we get a point. But it's more of a group game because we just keep a tally to see if we can beat the score when we were counting last.
