Brendan and I went running around like crazy again, second day in a row and still no luck on V4 or any more Tamagotchi cards here in washington state. I hope the rest of ya'll get lucky.

We have a pair on the way through TRU, but we are anxious ^_^

Does anybody know when the V4 is going to be released in Canada?

I called all the places around town here and they all said thay have them in but cant sell them uintil the 15th of January.  They say the boxes have huge labels on the that says dont sell until 01/15/07.  so that may be why they dont have them out yet......but then that makes me think how is TRU.com selling them.......hummmm.....

Hmmm... good info to have. I guess TRU.com made a mistake hehheh. That or they wanted to get one up on the competition by selling early for big holiday sales.

I've seen several on ebay, I'm guessing tru.com is not the only TRU that ignored the label on the box. They know the holiday sales will sell 'em faster ^^

If I recall correctly, Toys 'R Us is notorious for opening boxes before the release date. It's very irritating at the toy shop where I work, when people come in saying, "Do you have such-and-such?" and I say, "Not yet," and they whine, "But Toys 'R Us had them!"

Toys 'R Us does a lot of sketchy things from a company point of view, but it's great from a consumer point of view.

Hmm, I don't like the sound of that. Theoretically, there shouldn't be any V4s in Australia yet, but when I went to Toys 'R Us, they were there.

Man, I watched a few videos on youtube.com of the new V4, and frankly, I think that Bandai is getting a bit out of control with all the extra features. When someone bought a tamagotchi in '97, they bought a small colored egg with a baby creature inside that can grow into a new creature, and you appreciate it and grow attatched to it the longer you have it. But now, they go to work, kindergarden, get paid, you can connect it to your PC, you can connect it to other tamas (which is a good thing in my opinion) there are so many characters that look just alike eachother, and the whole akward antanae thing that sticks out of the egg looks kinda ridiculous. I have a p1 and a Connection v1. So far I think that's all I am going to need. But, I know ill be getting a v4 anyways  Wink
