The Matchmaker

Ok, so this not-so-good-looking creature with a book (i believe it is a book that it's carrying) approached my pet today twice at approximately 10am and 3pm. I read about the matchmaker on the tamagotchi connection homepage and I was wondering: my tamagotchi is a boy....do the matchmakers bring the opposite sex for your tamagotchi and if you do choose to accept/love the tamagotchi they bring, is the new tama always with you? I mean, do you HAVE to take care of both tamagotchis?

Yes, the matchmaker always brings a mate of the opposite gender. But you don't have to take care of the mate they just have a kid and you have to take care of both your tamagotchi and the kid.

Also, shouldn't this be in the questions/answer section?

You don't even have to take care of the kid; you just have to give it medicine once. The adult takes care of the baby.

Yes the matchmaker will bring the opposite sex. But this will not happen all the time.
