Hi. I recently got a V3 tamagotchi. It's my first proper tamagotchi, I used to get the animal types when I was little, anyway I don't think it's working properly. My friend and I both got one last Friday and my sister got one on Saturday. So it's been 5 days.. shouldn't this mean that my tamagotchi is 5 years old? Mine is only 3 and is still a teenager. Both my friend and my sister's are now adults. Is something wrong with mine? Shouldn't mine be an adult too? The only thing I can think of that might have affected it is from pausing it each night when I go to bed. I sleep in quite late so I don't want it dying on me. Thanks in advance.

Yep the pausing has delayed it a bit. That's why it hasn't grown as much. You will need to get that one caught up.

Yup TL is very correct. Tamagotchi doesn't age while in a state of pause.

Now if only I could figure out how to Pause myself so I don't age....

XD

You shouldn't worry about your Tama unless you wake up more than 1 and a half hours after it; and most Tama's wake up at 9:00.

Before school started back up I'd sleep in a lot up to 11am-2pm so I did pause back then, so that usually slowed down the progress, but it was either that or one or more of my guys dying so that was the best method.

And lately I'd be getting up before 9 or not long after 9 so it all works out Cheesy If you don't want to pause, just make sure to set your alarm for sometime around 9am.
