I eat a lot of carrots and potatoes. I LOVE watermelon, and green apples.
As for what I'm snacking on atm, some shortbread biscuits and a fruitbox (little cheap cartons of juice, usually popular in lunch boxes, or my cupboard. ^.^)

I love honeydew, cantelope, grapes, green apples and grapefruit. Ooh and fresh pineapple! Then again most fruits for me are very good. Fruit is the best snack food, in my opinion.
Things are seasonal here so.. we buy whatever looks good and is cheapest. Right now that is bananas and they are delicious!
For veggies it's usually broccoli, corn or peas. We stick with broccoli mostly, it's very healthy. I really enjoy spinach (especially salads with huge spinach leaves) and potatoes as well, but we don't have those very often.
To stay on topic.. tonight I've snacked on hot chocolate and snickerdoodle's snickerdoodles

I just finished my lunch and it was yummy
I had some sweet bread (which is homemade bread with little bits of dry fruit in it), two little bits of cheese, a banana, an apple and apple juice.
I forgot to mention that we have a lot of pasta for supper also. Normally spagheti, which is very good. My dad and I always make homemade sauce like Snickerdoodle. I think that's what we're having tonight

Oh, I do so wish I could gain weight! Being the healthiest eater in my family, and really watching what I eat has meant that I'm skinny. I have never really put on a lot of weight. My favourite snack is white peaches. Beautiful to eat when they're organic and helathy eating too! Actually, I'm eating one right now.

TL: it's so very true. Soda and high calorie drinks are one of the roots of all evil
One of those large drinks from StarBucks (or other coffee stands) can blow a whole days worth of calories or close! Many of those drinks use whole milk and real chocolate and often are over 1000 calories or more (most healthy diets are around 2k calories a day). Best way to get those drinks is go for simple and ask for the low fat milk.
The soda you buy in stores and such isn't so bad though if you only drink the diet versions (0 calorie). Drinking tea, esp green tea, is simply wonderful in taste and in health. Juice is great as long as it contains real juice (none of that fake stuff).
Knowledge is power and even though I don't watch Oprah it sounds like she's saying things that should be said in this day and age. There's so much misrepresentation of health in commercials and advertising.
I will give diet the chance usually if mom buys it, but stuff like Diet A&W root beer is awful. It needs the sugar. Apparently its the least in the sugar department according to one of the people I talk to when I wait for my morning bus to Mohawk lol. What surprised me was Gingerale was the most in sugars according to them. That I'm still not sure about.
I couldn't cut out pop completely, but I have drank less of it in the last couple of weeks. Today I had some because I gave blood. and I had a mouthful at home because that's what was left.
As for red meats and such, mom has been lessening the portions at dinner overall. Mind you I still went for seconds of spaghetti the other night, but it's not as bad as it can be.
Oh yeah, and walking is good

I bought jar of chocolate-nut butter and was going to make Kat's peanut butter cups, but then I found out that I have no cupcake molds and I ended up to use icecube mold LOL.
result: It's easy to get frost choco-nut butter out of icecube mold? NO
Second result was that I ate the rest chobo-nut butter with crackers and got like 7000 kilocalories and felt myself soo worse weightdropper :<
Next time I try to make something without choco-nut butter....

Agreed. But sadly even some fruit juices are high in sugar.

Today, I have sinned. We had Panda Express Orange Chicken.
However, repenting is of no use because I'd probably just do it again. But the good news is, I had a small helping.

Yeah it's really too bad about fruit juice, but.. it's better then some things. I don't have it unless I get a craving or I'm sick because it's just not worth the calories. Real fruit beats it any day.
I sooo love panda express. If I don't get any breaded items I can have it and enjoyyyy
It's sinfully good ^.^

I always make sure that the apple juice we buy is sugar free. I don't have sugar free jam on my toast in the morning though. And I also have a sprinkle of sugar over my cereal in the morning. Otherwise I try not to have to much sugar during the day.
