After I read this thread today I felt inspired to do some tamagotchi art.  So, since I haven't sculpted in a while, I decided to make a sculpture to dedicate my favorite character Mametchi!

It's about 5 inches tall. The hardest part was the body, because he has a distinct plump and wide body, and I kept making him too tall and skinny. Tongue  I'm pretty pleased with the results tho so maybe I'll make more of them.

That is so cute, I love it. Are you going to fire it?

LOL, well I'm not sure if you can fire this kind of clay..it's called Stonex Marblex clay or something and its one of those that you just leave out to dry..But I'm thinking about painting it though. Cheesy

Hmmm, seems like that idea to get into the arts n crafts store to get some shiny rhinestones is coming through... And some thin nail polish to design the nails.... Definitely need to put a tama on my ring finger nail. Cant wait to do that and see how it works out.

This is a Mimitchi doll that I made a while back, my stitching wasn't all that swell, but he turned out alright, very cuddly. ^.^

Awww, so cute!

Did you make a pattern or just throw some cut out pieces together?

That's so cool Madcow! I love it. ^^

My clay sculptures often droop when I make them, not sure why. Cheesy
Now all it needs is a bit of paint, and you have your reproduction of Mametchi in reality! ^_^

I embroidered a Mimitchi today.   I'll post pictures as soon as the handkerchief is done ^_^
