I found this info on tamaTalk posted by Binary...
I made these words and comments myself btw. but I got the source from Binary...

This Tamago-Chu is similar to the combination of Osu/Mesu and tamaMini
with Infrared function they can connect and get married...
now the interesting point of this new tama is its function to fall in love or fall in apart...
the challange must be faced if you dont connect the pairs often...
can they be the reincarnation of the Osuchi and Mesuchi?
only time will tell....  bq8

So this was the brand new never-seen Tama which Bandai was going to release in the beginning of 2007?

"Chu" is the sound of kissing in japanese, or the sound that mouse makes
So "Tamagotchu" is like "Kissing Eggs" Grin

They look sort of like 2000's version of OsuMesu, but what's the big idea of shrinking them into Chibigotchi/Tama Mini size?
Tamachu must have less options and features than Pluses/Keitais.

yep, that is correct
this tama is only a simple chibitama aimed to teenagers
with new features of course...
not as interactive asthe new ones but this should be the reincarnation of our beloved Osu/Mesu

They don't even look like tamagotchis hardly...weird....This is like a huge step down for tamagotchis....if anything, I thought they were going to get MORE options, not less..Could this mark the end of the new ones..?

Doubtful, it's just another option. Remember the miniature tamas? I doubt that this will be the permanent trend in tamas, just another product in the line.

Like what Brendan said, this is more along in the lines of the Chibi Tamagotchi
its not one of those Entama or Uratama thing...

Those look so cute!  I will have to pick those up for myself (probably make Apollo take care of the boy one... wahahaha).  That's a good idea for the staying together/falling apart thing... it always bothers me that on the Connections/Keitais/etc that they don't have to communicate with their mate after having children.
