This is an extremely significant breakthrough for this growth chart.

I just did a bit of quick math, and I've realized something.  If you feed your Tamagotchi exactly one meal and one snack throughout its entire life, there are 16 possible diets.  There are two kinds of generations, as well:  Even and Odd.  We know that they have different characters, so one diet will heed two characters, depending on the generation.  16 x 2 = 32.  Why is this significant?  There are 32 adult characters on the V3.

If my theory is correct, then this would provide a way to obtain every single character.  Perhaps this is what Bandai intended, so that their V3 would be almost impossible to figure out...?

If this theory was correct, then would that mean which games you played, if you kept the weight down, and if you neglected it, would have no significance to what character you got? Or would they factor in somehow as well?

That's true.  This occurrred to me a bit after posting that.   Tongue  Maybe there's more than one way to get a character.  For example, angeltattoo earlier posted that she had obtained four different characters via balanced meals, and the only variable was weight.  That contradicts my diet theory, unless that's another way to obtain characters.  This is really just a huge guess.   Grin

Ahaha.

This topic leads me to believe, more and more, that there are so many factors to raising a Tamagotchi on the V3 that it's pretty easy to say it's random - I've gotten a Mimitchi for absolutely terrible neglect before.

V4s, I don't know, I haven't tried it yet.

Okay. I got a Mametchi, and here were her stats:

Gen: Odd
Diet: Sushi/Apples
Game: I played get until she got heading, then I played that.
Weight: Almost never played the game.
Not sure if she ever slept in poop.
Hearts: Never beeped for me, but I'm not sure how low they went.

I'm currently raising Tissy's daughter and Tsska's son. Tissy and Tsska were the anniversary babies. Their children are on a diet of Scones and Tarts only. Tsska's son, Louis, is a Mohitamatchi, and Tissy's daughter, Serena, is what I think may be called... KUTCHITAMATCHI! I might get a Kutchipatchi! Woot! Sorry to post all this, but I'm excited. Oh, and they're gen. 2.

Mametchi and Mimitchi aren't the best characters anymore. I know it sounds crazy, but I'm absolutely positive that they're not anymore. My guess would be it's now Fuwaratchi/ChoMametchi.

The aging early thing could happen if you fiddle with the time to keep your Tama up late with you.

Tamas go through stages in set numbers of waking hours, and if they're awake longer in a day, then they'll change earlier.

Like, I use this a lot with my Ocean and Mimitchi tama--I *want* them to grow up faster, so I mess with the time so that they stay up many hours after their bedtime, and usually go to bed when I do, around one or two A.M..
