It sounds like these projects are simply inconclusive then? Too many factors involved to really nail it down?

I'm pretty sure you need a even gen. to get a mimitchi and a odd to get a mametchi

hope this helps (if it works)

Maybe on the Odd generations there's higher percentages in chance to get certain guys compared to Even where the chances are switched? (I hope that made sense LOL)

I have two new pieces of information for us!

1)  I think that Furawatchi (odd) equals Chomametchi (even), in the same way the Mametchi (odd) equals Mimitchi (even).  We might already know that, but...
2)  A diet of cereal and apples, along with high discipline and low weight, has always produced a Furwatchi or Chomametchi (depending on the generation) in my experience!

If anyone else would like to check out the cereal-and-apples possibility, that would be great.  (It could have just been a coincidence.)  Also, that would mean that there might be more than one way to get a single character.  As soon as I've obtained Mimitchi for my collection, I intend to explore other diet choices and see where the get me.

I haven't paid THAT close attention to how I care for my tamas but I thought this could help anyways...

*girl Teletchi--Mizutamatchi--Patapatatchi--Pyonkotchi/Rabitchi
*odd gen
*decent care
*overweight as baby and toddler, good weight as teen and adult
*Eat balanced meals
*Played Get and Flag mostly

*boy Teletchi--Tamatchi--Young Mametchi--Leaftchi/Violetchi/Korotchi
*odd gen
*decent care
*overweight as baby and toddler, good weight as teen and adult
*Eat balanced meals
*Played Get and Flag mostly

*boy Teletchi--Mohitamatchi--Hikotchi--Bunbuntchi
*even gen
*care-not so good
*overweight many times
*Eat balanced meals
*Played Get and Flag mostly

*boy Teletchi--Kuchitamatchi--Hikotchi--Androtchi
*even gen
*care-not so great
*overweight many times
*Eat balanced meals
*Played Get and Flag mostly

I hope this helped atleast a little.

Ooooh, thread revival!   Grin

Any help you give us is welcome.  Research has kind of grinded to a halt, because there might be too many factors to tie down.  Now that I have obtained Mimitchi, though, I can actually start testing some of the other theories and diet choices out there.  It will take time, but it will be time well spent.  I have a little bit of info myself.

**I'm pretty sure that Decotchi in an even gen equals Billotchi in an odd gen.  Both are obtainable, in my past experiences, by following the Mametchi/Mimitchi plan to a "T" EXCEPT for one night, where you let the Tamagotchi go to bed overweight.**

Thank you very much, Kiwiuke!  Although you have contradicted one of my previous statements, thanks to you, we now have enough cases to add a new piece of data to the list:

1)  Decotchi/Billotchi is obtained by basically good care, except for one night, when the Tamagotchi should go to bed overweight.

How exciting!  This is the third pair of characters that we've found out how to obtain.
